  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

Here is another D-lister that I liked the origin and costume of.


Still need to add shoulder guards.

nice work on the gold, have you considered putting a wash on it to help bring out the detail? I would say maybe a warm dark brown or a darker gold. I think it would help bring out the details, especially in the gauntlets.

that looks amazing. Very crisp and clean. I also don't know the character, but for a sci-fi or fantasy verse, I'd army build the hell out of him if I could.

Thanks all!

I just recently switched from Americana to Reaper Miniatures Master Series and am very happy with the results. As a side note though, the gold was done using Krylon Primer, American Kings Gold, Reaper Clear Yellow and then a light brushing of Reaper New Gold.
