This isn't a completely screen accurate custom of Sam Jackson as Nick Fury but its close enough for me until Hot Toys makes one. He's made from a Sideshow Mace Windu with a Sideshow Cobra Commander jacket and some random 12" clothes and accessories. I sculpted and painted the beard and scars over the left eye. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice face mods. Pretty seamless-looking. |

That looks really good. I'm honestly surprised we haven't seen it from Sideshow yet. |

He came out looking great. I thought he was a movie Nick Fury at first that you had done a few touch ups on. So yeah you did a great job on him. |

Thanks guys! I wasn't sure how the Sideshow Mace head would go over. Its not that accurate to Sam Jackson (the nose is too wide, the eyes are wrong and its more round than he is) but it was cheaper to get this figure ($55 shipped from BBTS) than a base body and one of the Hot Toys Spirit Octopus heads from ebay (which I was seriously considering until I saw the price). Its closer to the comics Brian Hitch art than the live action movie version and I'm okay with that. Until Hot Toys does their version this will fill that spot on my shelf just fine. |
