Cobra Snow Serpent Officer

So I've never really been thrilled with the Snow Serpent Officer got in the online Arctic pack a couple years back. His color scheme as fine, I guess, but I just feel like officers in specialty environments should look, well, different than their troops (and yes I realize how little sense that makes when the blueshirt officers were virtually indistinguishable from their troops back in the day).

Anyway, I had some parts sitting around and decided to try a more distinctive take on the Enemy Arctic Officer:

How did you do this one? I've been looking for an excuse to buy that Han Solo figure but couldn't figure out how to bash it onto a Joe figure and make it look good. This looks good and I want to copy it.

As for it being a Snow Serpent Officer, I see it more as a Blueshirt Arctic Trooper. Maybe if he had the Snow Serpent helmet under the hood he'd have more of the Snow Serpent vibe. But with the simple masked Trooper head he's just not working for a Snow Serpent for me, officer or otherwise. Doesn't make it any less of a great figure though.

pretty nice looking figure, and yeah I guess as chris said a trooper but not officer snow serpent without the SS head

I could see him as a single character. If he had a red mask I'd call him a Ice-Viper Officer. The goggles look good on him.

Yup I think he is too fantastic to be just an officer. Great figure, he's got a lot of character, is he a waist bash onto a Snow Solo?

Ya know, you put a Tele-Viper head on him and I think you'd really have a winner.

Something about the colors just make him seem like a Tele-Viper assigned to the Snow Serpents.

You know, I think I meant just Cobra Snow Officer when I posted him. He'd command the Snow Serpents and everyone else at the snow outpost on the snow field, but probably not from the front lines.

And I'm not objectionable to making him a named officer. Liking the first name Hans a lot.

The figure itself is a snow Solo with an MU Hand Ninja waist (took some finessing to adapt that, but it's fully functional) Roadblock thighs and Snow Serpent lower legs. The gloves are off a Y-wing pilot, I think.

I'm thinking about giving him a knit cap under the hood.

I like it great concept Idea stolen put in a shaker and shaken not stirred. I do agree he should Be a named cobra as the Commander of the Snowserpents maybe find a VvV Snowwolf helmet and mod it to a Blueshirt helmet.

The jacket/hood is really too identifiable as Han Solo. Throw on a different head without the hood and look is sold. Maybe some kind of harness or webgear to further downplay the Solo-ness?

I have to echo this. I always think Officers should just be slightly fancier versions of their own troop type . This guy makes for a really neat unique character though. I always enjoy simple but effective stuff like this.
