Not a big fan of that colour scheme, but that's AF's fault. The paintjob itself looks very good. Nice detailing on the boots! Oh wait, did you sculpt a bandana on Gung Ho's head? Tim 121RVC |

This was my favourite AF character as a kid. I love the head. Superb. And I echo Tims question- is that a sculpted bandanna? Im not feeling the jacket tbh. It sets him more as Tank crew, pilot or officer. To me, hes a grease monkey that is always covered in soot, grease etc. Because of that I think he'd wear just a beater or a coverall. |

Thanks, everyone. Yes, Pluv called it right. It's just a "bald" head with the head top and sweatband painted as the same thing. Works pretty well, though. As for the jacket... I don't have much insight into the Action Force character, so it might not be in keeping with the character. I felt it was more important to go a route that didn't reflect any previous Gung Ho figures. What's the story on the character? |

http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/toys/00 ... index.html thats the original figure and bio. http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/comics/baf/index.html At BFTB theres a complete back catalogue of all the Battle Action Force comics. Id recommend them to anyone, some fantastic stories. http://www.bloodforthebaron.com/comics/ ... index.html That story is one I clearly remember has Gaucho in it. And its a great read IMO |

Sweet ARAH goodness! Nice paintjob too, although I'm not sure about the colors. I like the overall look of it though!! Did you sculpt/repair the crotch? It looks a little bit altered. |

Thanks for posting the links! I like the colors, mostly because I'm normally "realistic" about the color schemes, especially on "good guy" figures. Cobra and Red Shadows get some crazier color schemes. With AF characters I tend to broaden the palette a little bit, but not much. The red holster and boot things are a nod to the Palitoy Gaucho's red vest. |
