I like how this turned out. The paint apps are definitely cool.

The only thing that bugs me, and I might be wrong, but I think the engine has to be in the back to turn the drive wheels.

That came out looking great.

Not necessarily. The Sherman tank's drive sprockets were in the front, but the engine was in the rear.

Thanks for the positive comments, and if you look at the right and left rear corners of the vehicle you can see that the twin turbo engines are still there and mostly intact. I also chose that shade of red so that the vehicle can easily fit in with the Crimson Guard as well as standard Cobra Troopers.

Looks sharp. The troops are a little too exposed, but it still looks good.

I was gonna say what Matthew did. Looks great but perhaps a lil' armor plating or even tied down sandbags to offer up some troop and driver protection would really push it over the top.

Great color scheme. I dig it.

I agree on both counts. I especially like the addition of the chain at the front. Its little details like that that seperate good customs from great customs.

I do feel that the addition of some form of protective armour- a la a Nazi WWII half track- would put this over the top.

I also wonder if its worth seeing if you can fit the rear passenger compartment of the original apc in there to give seats rather than benches.

I love that thing.
I bet the red + grey also looks good when it's loaded with the red + grey Ally Vipers. Or the Night Watch.

The only thing I don't care for is the placement of the big middle gun up front. Joe is famous for odd gun placements--but whew boy I'd had to be the driver or front passenger in that thing. You'd be deaf and/or dead in a moment.

So, first, that looks fantastic.

Second, here's an idea that might address the "too exposed" comments: In that color scheme, it would look much better full of PoC Alley Vipers, anyway. Those guys are armored up the wazoo. Plus, I'd think they'd prefer a more open vehicle for fast deployment.

Nice work.
