like probably most people, I loved the PoC Lowlight. In fact, it was the first fig Id bought in over 3 years.

However, there were a few things I wasnt that keen on. the hunchback look- though nowhere near as bad as Blaine, er Recondo, really limits articulation. The stock on the Intervention- which I ended up just glueing on.

But mostly, the thing on his left leg that holds the sight.

Its a good attempt to justify the weird thing on the original, but it just seemed really odd to have a sight there. Plus, theres already a space for it in the gunbag( which is one of the many outstanding accessories this fig has)

So I thought Id do this:

IMO, that makes more sense. And gives the PDA a holder, and therefore easy access

Clever.

Now can you do something about his monkey arms?

;)

Consider this stolen. I hate him having the scope there. Way too easy to knock it out of whack. And, like you said, there's a space for it, in the gun case.

It's a good fix for it, since that isn't a good place to carry a scope. But, that wasn't a weird thing on the original; it was a folded up bipod. Hmm... Wonder if a collapsible bipod could made that would fit there?

Ah was it? First Ive heard of that. And that would make sense. Thanks

Dont know if you could feasibly make a collapsible bipod. But you could certainly do a collapsed (and fixed) bipod.

Spin- was just about to comment that fixing those arms would be Greyryder level work, then I see who the next poster is.

Fancy tackling that Greyryder?

As someone that has monkey arms himself I take offense to that remark. :-x

Something else you could stow on that leg would be a flashlight like the one that comes in Fireflys tool kit.

Good idea! I was wondering why that scope had 2 stowable places.
I myself want to get rid of the armored chest & shoulders. Why have armor & another vest on top of that? I think the plain Shock Trooper torso would work.

I have kind of long arms myself, so Lowlight looks fine to me.

It'd be hard to fix, without having patch the sculpt and repaint the arms. I'm mostly envisioning cutting a section out of the lower arms, and gluing them back together. If the cuts were kept smooth enough for the parts to fit back together tightly, it might be doable, without painting. Would take some careful carving and sanding, though. It's made a little bit easier by those black pads being separate pieces. Remove those entirely, before making the cuts. That minimizes the area that needs to be matched up.

An easier solution might be to just find hands that farther into the ends of the arms. Probably end up losing the wrist joints, that way. Come to think of it, you might be able to just bore out the ends of the arms to let the hands sit further up inside. Might lose some of the range of motion in the wrists.

Waitaminute. I have a level? 8-O

LOL

With the ambitious and insanely detailed sculpting/modifying you do, Id say you ARE a level.

Yeah, with his longer arms, he might actually have a decent shot at being able to shoulder the AUG A1/G11/XM8/TAR-21/every other gun released in the RoC line.
