I've wanted to update some of my MOTU customs in the MU style for a while. Here are the two core characters. I threw in a bonus head on Skeletor for fun. The lighting is bad, but I didn't feel like setting up my light-box tonight.

Skeletor (Keldor)

I like these a lot, I have one as a WIP that is one of the build n brawl figures but I was thinking of doing one like you have, now I'll have to find another way. I really want that sword, where did it come from/ where can I get one? :-D I have tow problems, and they are only from my standpoint. Keldor looks too nice, like he would pull over and help you change wheels on your Battle Wagon when one breaks off, or bring a house warming present to the new neighbors, and second he looks like a blue version of a good friend of mine from High School. Otherwise you have me rethinking my MOTU project. Kudos sir, Kudos.

He-Man is awesome, one I would buy! Skeletor something is just a little off for me, but still good.

Thanks for the comments. To answer the question on the He-Man sword, I think I got it from Slayer Designs back when it was Good-2-Go. It may still be in their archive. Skeletor was a major challenge and about 3 months (on and off) work. I tried a lot of different thing on him, and this is the closest I could get to what I envisioned. He's a little more frail than normal, but I wanted to give him a more magic than muscle look.

Love both figures, but Keldor/Skeletor is awesome. I love that he's smaller in size than He-man, I totally get the sorcerer versus barbarian idea. Is Keldor's head Namor's?

Totally agree with this.

Not every character needs to be ripped to the extreme. This is probably the best Skeletor I've seen at this scale and largely because of his proportions.

Thanks for the comments. I've got a few more MOTU in the works at various stages. I'll add them to this thread as I finish them.

More MOTU added. She-ra and Wonder Woman I have had in the works for about 4 months. I finally found the parts and materials to make them work. Swiftwind came together in a couple of days. I'm currently starting on an Adora figure, and if I can find another Indy horse I'll make Spirit as well.

Don't know how I missed this thread before. On the new ones, she-ra is very cool, as is her ride. Wonder Woman is really well done also. On the old stuff, I too like that Skeletor is skinnier. Just because the original toys used all one size, doesn't mean they have to stay that way. But He-Man effing rocks the house man.

Can you trim down the stamping on the inside of Wonder Woman's thighs? The raised ridges of the words kinda stand out.
