Hey guys,

Been looking on Amazon at some doll houses for a possible diorama idea, but am struggling to know if they're the right size for Joes.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on some realistic looking dolls houses that are in proportion to 3 3/4?

Cheers

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lundby_(company) sort of in scale. probably a bit too small for the modern sculpt, but perfect for RAH

There was a thread about these houses (made by Brinca Dada) a while ago. TRU was selling them, and this version was going for $300. Once I saw this listing at $100, I nabbed it. Got it quickly, but have not put it together yet.

Several caveats: First - there were lots of quality control issues with this house, which is why it is getting sold so cheap. And apparently a real @#$%^ to put together also. But I figure what good is being a customizer if I can't work around that?

Second - I've seen conflicting reports as to the actual scale of this thing. Some do say 1:18, but I think it's intended scale is closer to 1:16. It is large, from the pics I've seen. But to me, aside from maybe the steps, that doesn't pose a problem. I'd rather it be "roomy" and have room to work with it, than to have the figures be oversized within it.

Third - this doesn't come with the furniture set. Search brinca dada on ebay and you'll see the 32 piece set that is meant for this house (they have another house the Dylan house, which also might be ok, but the furniture for that one seems really cheap). The furniture for the Emerson looks top notch though.

I haven't bought the furniture yet because it hasn't had the same level of price reduction, but also because the scale of the house need not be precise, but for this cost, I wouldn't want the furniture to be off by much.
