Post subject:  End of Days- Mysterious Stranger

This is a self custom done for Mysterious Stranger, as he would appear in my End of Days verse.
parts list-
Head: GTG sculpt
Upper body: Star Wars Sand Trooper
Lower body: 25th GI Joe Flint
Backpack: Chap Mei (Sheath 25th Storm Shadow)
Belt: Chap Mei.
Gas Mask: 25th Alley Viper
Gun: Random 25th GI Joe

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone
Check my vital signs to know I'm still alive
And I walk alone (Lyrics by Green Day) . . .

(These pics were taken indoors, so I'm sorry about the quality.)

Did you make this one or did Mysterious Stranger?

I'm confused because you say it's a self custom for him...

I like the use of the Star Wars armor mixed with the 25th style. Works well together.

Very cool. Shades of EoD Snake Eyes there.

What a great tribute...and an honor to make an appearance in your awesome Zombie-verse.

Color me jealous.

Thanks, guys. Took the better part of a day to paint him. I got the figure finished, decided to seal him with a clear coat but didn't realize the paint had gone bad. I was left with an all white figure so I had to repaint him.

Tribute or not, that is a cool looking figure. All geared up he is a bad ass looking figure.

Damn, that is one sexy zombie killer.

When I proposed this idea to John I had no idea what I wanted from the figure, just that he be done in the EoD style. John went way above and beyond my expectations with this and I'm truly honored. Of course now I want some zombies for him to fight on my shelf...

Glad to hear he went over well with everyone. I had a hard time picking out color choices that I thought would work, and be somewhat fresh.
He ships out tomorrow, hope you enjoy him, Chris. And now you have an excuse to make some zombie customs. =)

Self customs rock, no matter who does them.

where's the R2-D2 mailbox accessory for him to dominate?

that's friggin' sweet, John. I LOVE how you paint the Imp Stormtrooper armor to adapt it in a non-SW context, it's very effective. Kick ass!

awesome. I'm beginning to think Chris might be the one guy around here who has me dominated in terms of the number of customs of himself. lol.

btw, what do you mean by 'the paint went bad'? It just didn't hold to the plastic you mean? Sounds odd and troubling.

It looked like someone poured Krazy glue all over the figure- that white, flaking, skin. I was really not a happy camper about it.
In the jar it looked like clear paint (I've used the tinted versions many times with no issues at all).
