I know a lot of people really love the new Viper that came out, but seeing as I could never get my hands on it, I had to take things into my own hands. Besides, I figured I'd be happier taking the classic design and keeping enough of it that it is familiar while still updating to look like modern Cobra gear. Wasn't too hard but I am very pleased with the results.

Parts List
Head: Viper (Hall of Heroes)
Torso: Viper (Hall of Heroes)
Upper Arms: Viper (Hall of Heroes)
Lower Arms: Snake Eyes (Tornado Kick)
Hands: Captain America (Ultimate WWII Version)
Legs: Viper (Hall of Heroes)
Vest: Cobra Shock Trooper (City Strike)
Backpack: Viper (Hall of Heroes)
Gun: Cobra Shock Trooper (City Strike)

Good looking figure. Love the skull patch on the left sleeve. Is the helmet face plate grainy? Kinda looks that way in the pic.

Actually, the face plate is very smooth. I just painted it the way I did because I wanted it to look rougher, like something a soldier has worn and used a lot.

I like the forearms a lot better than those of the recent PoC Viper. Those big, round pads on the Viper are kind of annoying, these look closer to the classic look.

Some scrape/scuff marks on the faceplate would have worked instead of the texture, but I get it. This is a superb update to the original figure.
