What is WARco.?

WARco. is a popular serial program by LiveStar Productions that airs pan-wide via the Federation DataStreams. The feature utilizes a vanguard technology to follow a team of combat mercenaries on pick-up missions in the Wastelands. The team is led by FDF special forces veteran Warren A. Raine, whose handle is "War".

By very nature of their profession, War and his team reveal the brutal reality of mercenary life throughout the woeful Wastelands of NeoPan, and deliver it piping hot to the Federation Metros in visceral, first-person perspective...

Image

The current popularity and success of WARco. is due in large part to a cutting technology known as ISIRE, or Imaging by Satellite-Integrated REangulation. Through nanooptic transceiver cams (called pixies) built directly into field equipment, Federation DS satellites are able to collect and transmit multiple live perspectives of the team's every action...

Blood Money (WARco. Theme)

--by The Butcher (Marat/Scavetti)

So that's a nuclear winter
Are you ready to fry?
It's a mother you mothers
Kiss it all goodbye, oh while,
While they watch about us on the DS... (hah)

It's the proper solution
It's the best I could find,
The Desolates they will break you
Wreck your bloody mind, oh mine,
Mine is already wasted...

It's war... Yeah it's wicked business as usual...
It's war... When no one survives, it's WARco....

It's the dreaded condition
Eats you from inside,
Soon the trauma will hit you
More than you can abide, oh I,
I only did it for the money...

(Spoken)
"...WARco. stars Warren Raine, ex-FDF Elite Commando-turned-combat merc and his team of highly trained soldiers-of-fortune. As they conduct their business amongst the ruins, cutting-edge Federation technology captures every second of the action, and the drama..."

(Instrumental...)

It's war... WARco....
It's war... WARco....
Run for your life -
Gun for your life, with WARco....

~Music and Lyrics by The Butcher @Revos, TxM, 2o5o

This is very cool, but very disturbing at the same time. Is this the future of 'reality tv'?

Great read and great new customs, did you make all of that dio items in that one pic, Like the cinder blocks, crates and such ?

Chaosx-- Thanks for saying. I suppose we'll see how it goes.

Jac-- LOL. The future of Reality TV? Hmmmn... :shifty:

I'm still waiting to hear back on that...

LOL. Thanks.

Jbyrdd-- Thank you, brother!

A couple of those crates are plastic, and I did not weave the baskets, LOL - but most everything else there is hand-made; the crates, cinders, palettes, boxes - were indeed crafted with light woods.

Thanks again.

Sincerely, I appreciate the positive comments, gents.

I like the concept. One of my favorite subtle parts is the way the WARco pic looks like it was snapped from a television screen. Would like to be able to see more detail of your work on the figs, but the set-up is nice, as I'd expect it to be.

Thanks guys! :)

bindy-- thank you, and good catch on that logo. Again, future-retro. ;)

Indeed, this team is loads of fun to play. While they are not the villains per se, you will see that they are, by no means, nice...

"WARco. is a jaded lot with wicked intentions, dealing up in shades of gray..."

--Syren Ready, for The Libertines

In fact, one of the WARco. team member's personal motto happens to be "Let's play dirty...".

The figures and the props are great and compliment each other nicely.

Post subject:  Re: FS:2o5o... WARco.

Thanks, fellas. :-D

I should clarify this, though, as I cannot take complete credit for all of the dio props here.

In truth, a couple friends of mine had helped me greatly with several of the items depicted in these scenes (and probably in some future ones, as well) - such as the palettes, boxes, crates and rugs.

And although neither of them are into action figures (they're both girls who just happen to make miniatures, LOL), a big thanks to both L and T for their respective contributions.

The figures, of course, are all my own doing.

More to come, and thanks again!
