  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

The Alley Viper has always been a favorite of mine. An excellent concept, sculpt and execution. But poor color choices. I took one of my Neon orange Alley Vipers and fully painted him.

I was inspired by Kevin Watts' POC Alley Viper that he did here:

Kevin was really helpful as I put this one together. So a big thanks to him as this was only my second painted figure.

That looks amazing. I'm already a big fan of that Alley Viper figure, but your repaint makes him 100 times better. I agree with what everyone else has said in that the colors really make the details in the mold stand out!

Looks great... I think the Cobra Sigils could use a couple more coats to really make their color look even.

I would gladly have taken that over some of the oddball camo schemes we got with later versions. You can't go wrong with that color palette.

Count me in the crowd who never noticed the details before. I wasn't even sure it was a direct repaint at first. Great work.

I love the modern colour scheme, he looks fan-freakin-tastic! I too never noticed all the detail on his chest rig.

Yup, you did a great paintjob, especially on the torso!
The Cobra logo's might need another layer of paint, there's some black showing through.
