Rory Dekker was born in Daytona Beach, FL. Raised by his father - who was president of the local chapter of the biker gang The Fugitives, he was indoctrined into the outlaw lifestyle from an early age. Having a healthy appreciation for big, American V-twin motorcycles - he found them lacking in the speed department - which is what he ultimately craved & found himself gravitating toward exotic sport bikes. By the age of 20, he was already an accomplished amature circuit rider & was scouted & eventually recruited by a well known factory race team, to be their new MotoGP PRO rider in the Unlimited class. His ultra-aggressive "never back down" riding style earned him the nickname "Throttle" & was known by his competitors to have a meanstreak off the track, volatile & dangerous on the track. After only 2 seasons as a factory sponsored rider he was permanently banned from any & all professionally sanctioned motorcycle racing leagues. This being the resulting fallout from a particularly devastating crash he had caused, in which 3 fellow riders lost their lives & 5 others were crippled. Returning home to FL, he became a full fledged member of The Fugitives & quickly became the most violent & vicious among their ranks, taking part in a myriad of criminal activities - ranging from the manufacture/distribution of drugs, weapons smuggling, bank robbery, grand larceny, extortion, kidnapping & contract murder. During what they believed to be a routine smash & grab at a storage warehouse, Throttle & 2 other Fugitive members, stumbled upon what turned out to be a top secret military "skunkworks" weapons cache facility, where they discovered a functional prototype hoverbike & a stockpile of experimental weapons. Quickly recognizing the potential impact that such a piece of hardware could have on their criminal endeavors, Throttle boosted it & has begun utilizing the machine as his personal attack craft. Word of The Fugitives recent high profile crime spree has trickled down to the Everglades & the Dreadnoks are very interested in finding this crew & the hoverbike rider in particular... This was a contest entry @ CFW --- http://www.customfigurewars.com/content ... om-contest I have more pics of the hoverbike & will post those in the vehicle thread... |

I think that he looks too futuristic for the Noks, but a great looking figure nontheless. I really like the hoverbike, this really stand out from the figure. Is this supposed to be part of a future world Dreadnok story line? If so, then great concept and execution. |

Since the base fig is named Shockblast --- all mention of sed fig will be referred to as Shockblast henceforth --- I don't wanna hear the crappy Hasbro liscensing issues... So... I picked up a Resolute Destro vs. Shockblast comic 2-pk. - I felt that the Shockblast could've been better... I kept all the OG pieces that I liked & kitbashed all the rest... I really didn't care for the baby blue w/ dark blue & yellow camo paint scheme that he had... Went w/ sumthin' more subtle... I know black gear would've been more accurate for a S.W.A.T. specialist, but I guess I'm partial to the leather look... (also, slate blue & brown are traditional samurai warrior colors - a combination I am VERY fond of...) & it added some much needed contrast... RECIPE : HEAD = OG Resolute Shockblast w/ helmet from Bravo Team fig TORSO & UPPER ARMS = RoC Cobra Aqua Viper Officer - from Mantis Attack Sub LOWER ARMS = PoC Rollbar - from Snarler Cycle HANDS = PoC Recondo UPPER LEGS = PoC Jungle Duke KNEES = PoC Rollbar - from Snarler Cycle LOWER LEGS & BOOTS = OG Resolute Shockblast GEAR = Vest from OG Resolute Shockblast w/ flashbang grenades added from OG belt & packs from fodder - Backpack from 25th Scarlett (parachute version) - Belt & leg holster/gun from MU Winter Soldier - Misc. pouches from Bravo Team fig WEAPONS = MP5 from Bravo Team fig w/ scope added from fodder - Tactical shotgun from Bravo Team fig - OG left leg knife & sheath were dremelled down & Bowie kinfe & sheath from 25th Ripper vest added in place PAINT = Model Master acrylics - entire fig was given a flat black base coat (except for the eyes & face parts) then lots of drybrushed layers I hope U all enjoy my version of Resolute Shockblast... as always questions / comments / suggestions / critiques R welcomed... THNX 4 lookin'... BL4CK5H33P out... |

I appreciate seeing your work and it is obvious you put effort into these. I just want to give you a heads-up about posting multiple new threads in the same day. There is a board rule about it. One of the Mods may let you know to post everything in one thread. |

Decrypting through the whole numbers for letters thing to see what I was looking at,It is a pretty cool looking custom and looks like what I imagine a rogue War Machine would look like.Great use of the Commander and the Star Wars heads and very nice paints,Great job! |

Some cool stuff! I really like the Shockblast figure; the dark colors are always a win in my book! Throttle is pretty cool, too... and it is the same name I used for a 'Nok a short while back, so great choice there! -Todd |
