I'm seeing this first one as the S.A.W. Viper that killed a couple of Joes, but in my universe he didn't turn into Overkill. He earned himself a different status among the Cobra ranks and got to compose his own uniform.
Or, this is just a talented S.A.W. Viper that became a Dreadnok.

What do you think is the best background story?

Looks like a silent guy that can take care of business. I think he does need a backpack, not sure about a helmet.

Great job on both. I love well done lbcs

The SAW Viper is mean looking and takes on a whole personality.

The second guy looks like he could be an old friend from Stalker, Snake Eyes, and Storm Shadow's LRRP days.

Fun. The colors work well on the SAW, and the next guy looks tough. I want to call him “Stubs.”

yea that 2nd guy is killer! i used that head for eli, but all buff he kind of looks like bo jackson. bo knows m-60.

I could see the second guy as Double-Blast, instead of the character being a Roadblock clone.

Thanks! Yes, the S.A.W. Viper is my favorite of the two.
I see what you mean about the second guy. Maybe he looks a bit too generic. Or that´s just his thing, the guy that always gets overlooked until he gets into action.

Hmm, Double-Blast might be a good one. I always hated him as a RB clone.

I hope you didn't take that as a complaint for the second guy. I really like his look and it looks great as is. Nothing too generic at all. The Doc head with the glasses is loaded with personality and this should just be a muscled up Doc but it's not. Dude looks like he's the answer to the enemy having too much fire power. A big gun hoisted with a grunt and a grin is all it takes to know that he's ready for action. And when the field is clear, the big man lights a fat cigar to signal he's done.

The thing is, whatever appearance of the Machine Gunner, that could be an insight into the hook for his file card and personality.

Overlooked and kinda generic (laid back and soft spoken) but welcomed when he opens up with suppressive fire.

These are both really cool. The saw viper could work as Gallows, the plague team member, and the joe could be Double Blast

Hm. One again synchronicity strikes.

Yesterday I came across a picture of a childhood friends father. He passed away when we were teens and forever altered the course of the lives of his children.

My friends.

Their father served. The 2nd custom figure looks similar to the picture i came across hours ago from over 30 years ago now (yikes!). I'm talking down to the machine gun he was holding in his hands in the picture.

He was a big strong man. I recall that from my childhood.

I like the custom a lot. It reminds me of why ARAH will always be special to me. It was the every man line of heroes for a time.
