as i was cleaning and organizing vehicles i just happened to place the VvsV Hydrofoil in the Rolling Thunder. I stepped back and thought to myself that would be a neat carrier for cross country travel of a hydrofoil. i just wanted to get some thoughts on this idea.

thanks all,

Urban Viper

If it works, it works, go with it.

Modify the giant missile rack so the hydrofoil can sit on it then use the rack as a launcher, raising up to let the hydrofoil slide off into the water.

the rolling thunder is just a shell, i was thinking along the lines of a how a normal small boat launches (Backs into the water). but i do like the idea of the missile launcher/boat launcher. i'll see what i can get.

thanks all

Think of it like those roll-off dumpsters. The trucks haul 'em and off-load them all in one.

I'm already using it to carry mine!
In my Joeverse, the Thunder was decom'd by Congress.
Hawk kept it for a heavy transport/comm center to suplement the RHINO. . .
(Its still on my things to do list)

Really good idea. Adding some Chap-Mei cargo nets or securing lines would be a good touch.

Love the idea, I have something similar in the works, but with the ROC pitt (after it's been gutted)
For the sides (where the gunner seats go) you should consider small crane like arms &/or fueling type apparatus like in the MCC. You got a great concept here

Has anyone tried to fit the Bbi M1 Abrams in the back yet?
I'm sure the LAV-25 will, just gotta fashion a ramp for the rear.
And pick a neutral paint scheme to go well with them all.

Go for it!
Some kind of elevating ramp to make it slide off into the water would certainly improve this sweet WIP.
