Almost 10 years ago I posted my first ARAH customs, members of the Oktober Guard. Over the years I have always customized ARAH figures, even though they are no longer loved, with the dream of recreating all of the characters that I believe are important to the story of G.I. JOE. In the back of mind I always wanted to create a diorama to display all of my customs on. These dioramas would be specific to G.I. JOE, Cobra, the Oktober Guard and the Dreadnoks. The first group that is finished, at least for the immediate future is the G.I. JOE team. This diorama is my display for all of the G.I. JOE team customs that I have. It has been a long ten years, some frustration, a lot of imagination and 65 Figures, 14 Vehicles, 1 Playset and a few awards later I am ready to present my G.I. JOE Diorama.

As always, I look forward to any criticism, praise or questions that any of you may have.

Bloody awesome!
The background is amazing and your Bivouac is such a cool playset.

BTW, the Duke head with gray hair looks great. I might have to paint one like that too.

You are one of those guys who posts customs that make me want to delve into RAH customizing. You capture realism and personality in the figures. This is how I perceived my RAH toys as a kid. As an adult, the look did not hold up for me. Yet, your RAH customs recapture that for me and fill my head with nostalgia.

The amazing part of this post is that the figures themselves take a back seat to the playset and the background set construction.

That is great. I was just saying how I want to do mini-mini dio stand for my customs and you go and make a dio for your playset. Crazy awesome stuff.

I really love that playset, I wish you had some more progress shots because I can't figure out how and where you joined the two bases.
