That Thing...Love it, now I'll have to watch the John Carpenter, Kurt Russell classic again and not the horrible prequel remake.

Thanks, gents. I can't say the prequel is 'horrible'. Certainly not as good as the original 'sequel', but at worst it's just un-necessary since it doesn't really add to or detract from the original. One thing I liked about the prequel were the screams, how they got it all mixed in with a good amount of human screams. That sort of thing really sold the various scenes of the critter to me. Plus that grody-ass autopsy scene made me wanna barf, what with the victim's translucent skin. Been in far too many labs doing that sort of thing.

Image Love this! I cannot get enough of the weird and bizarre, when it comes to custom figs.

You genius. Seriously, this is unbelievable. This is an idea that is too dang sweet it can't even be remotely stolen for our own needs.

Genius. I love it.

Thanks, everybody. Tankster PMed me today to let me know he got that Thing I sent him. He's prolly too busy working on other awesome items to post himself, so hopefully he won't mind me quoting him to polish my ego a bit more:

"Dude i got it today thats some sick ass "LASER BLAST"!!! i Love it!!! somebody watched the Thing recently lol "

I watched the prequel flick prior to the dvd's release and had her/it in progress since around Thanksgiving. The actual surgery only took me a couple weeks, while the bulk of the work was painting, finding where the scrapes are, repainting, finding more scrapes, sealing, repainting as the sealant changed the color, painting again as the coat didn't cover properly, re-sealing, etc etc, ad infinitum, ad nauseum.

Now to go open my Lady Deadpool, woot!
