Picked up an Avenegers Movie Iron Man Firestrike Assult Jet a few weeks back knowing it was going to become a M.A.R.S. fighter to go with the other vehicles i ade for the faction.
I had customized a pilot for the jet as well but the pictures turned out horrible as every single flaw seemed visible. I'll have to rework him a bit before posting.

I'd do something with the engine cowlings on both sides. Maybe paint them red or black to match or even a little gold to tie into that IG color palette.

Aside from that minor critique I really like this. Shows the versatility of that vehicle really well. I have a second Cap Justice Jet that I'm holding on to until I find the right inspiration for a repaint like this. Might have to get a second IM jet to copy yours.

Thanks for the comments, and the critique. There were plenty of things I would like to have done with it, and I wasn't sure about the colors I chose. I thought of going grey instead of red for the wing elements, that would have tied them in better with the other M.A.R.S. vehicles I've made. I wanted to differentiate a bit between the two Destro factions. The way I see it, M.A.R.S. is kind of like the proto-form or the Iron Grenadiers, something they were before they evolved into a full fledged army.
The cannon is something I struggled with, I would liked to have changed it out (at least the barrels) for something else, but most of my vehicle scraps are packed away.

Word or advice, I don't often use primer before painting, but I wish I had before spraying this thing down. What ever plastic it's made of, or coated with doesn't like aerosol much, even Krylon Fusion.

Most nice. I think it needs little touches here and there, like the 'springs' between the rear wing fins and the landing skids on them needing to be a metallic color, and the fans would look much nicer with some weathering/blackwash. I really like the MARS logo set over the right intake.

It looks like a VTOL Firebat. I like it in these colors. I agree a touch of gold would have helped but I understand your thinking on it.

Agreed on the gold. Maybe a thin line around the canopy and tips of the wings and fins? Just to set it off and make it pop.
