This started as an entry for the Two Week Shoe Box dio challenge and took me a lot longer to finish. Then I upgraded my iMac to the latest OS and re-install everything and move everything back. So the pictures took me even longer to finally get around to uploading. My idea was to take the inner corrugated section of the box and make it the outer shell for the hut. You can see the progress here. viewtopic.php?f=88&t=32423

And now the final pics.

I don't know if you can see but Kwinn is reaching to set the timer on the bomb on the table. Thanks to Dark Jedi for reminding me about that.

Awesome, awesome.

Is there anything you can treat it with to have it be more durable and long-lasting?

I'm not familiar with the source mat, but I really dig this.

Nicely done.

YES!

I. Am. Gonna. Steal. This. So. Friggin'. Hard.

srsly

The little details like the windows really amp up the realism. - I'm with PYD - have you got any plans to laquer it up or do something to keep it this nice forever?

Who knew Pluv did dios? ;-)

You're welcome. I've read those early Marvel issues many times while brainstorming for my augmented OG13 characters.

Question though, have you posted pics of those Arctic characters yet?

Mighty curious to see how you did up Scarlett, and wanna get a closer look at Breaker and Stalker.

I gotta get me one of those radar dishes. I've got several MMS units that need something done with them.

Home run. You did a great job on this. Cannot tell what the materials you used by just looking at it. The windows and the little vent above the door really make this pop. May i ask where that 118th PC came from. That thing caught my eye instantly.

It has a layer of clear coat but the lacquer would just warp the cardboard. Tonight I'll take a picture of something I got from yjagg that makes me less concerned about what eventually happens to this. It is going on a display shelf for a couple of years anyway. Everything has survived a move, so here's to hoping this one will be able to some day as well.

They are all just head swaps. Snake Eyes came that way except for the IG uzi. I totally took the idea from daremo and his Arctic Commando Lt. Falcon. http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/custo ... c=ltfalcon

25th Counter Intelligence Scarlett (Glenda) head on 25th Snow Job body
25th Stalker head on PoC Snow Job body
25th Breaker on TRU PoC Shipwreck body

Inside
Comic Pack Beachhead alternate unmasked head on a Cobra Arctic set Televiper body
Attack on Cobra Island set Ripcord head (it was also used on comic pack Red Star) on a white coat RoC The Doctor/Rex

I'm sorry I honestly don't remember. I know it is a brightly colored multi piece eraser (or eraser like rubber) originally in red, green and yellow. I painted it grey years ago for an eventual dio but for the life of me I can't remember where it came from. There is nothing on it about who made it. The screen is just a piece of paper I drew soundwaves and vibration recording on and inserted in there.
