I have a couple suggestions, but first let me say that if you're going to combine Star Wars and Joe, I love what you chose to do with Chewie. Very solid idea for him.

1. You could either paint or sculpt body hair onto the arms and, especially, the chest. That would really add to his Chewbacca-ness.
2. Give him a bandolier of some kind. Clips, bullet belt, grenades, whatever.
3. If you can find untucked pant-legs that fit the upper legs, you could rough up the bottoms of the pants and use them to represent the shaggy fur around Chewie's feet. Something that looks like a pair of frayed and worn jeans, maybe.
4. A crossbow doesn't have to be his primary weapon, but it would be cool if he had one. The small one that attaches to 25th Beachhead's backpack might work well.

I'll be curious to see how this turns out.

This is already a very cool figure, but with sgartz's suggestions and the fur boots you're planning on, it should be awesome.

Bandolier is a must, but all of sgartz suggestions are great. It's a good start for sure. Retaliation Road-Block might even be taller if you don't mine paint matching the skin tone on the face. Also some goggles and welding gear in his accessories could play up Chewie's scenes working on the Falcon.

For Han, there was a lot of EU lore that he was an ex-Imperial... Maybe Han is an ex-Cobra mercenary in this 'verse?

Someone had an idea for making Han and a human styled Chewie be something like air america pilots in a joe setting. Would work great to with the true heroes C-130 if you have one.

Also love this so bar. Agreed need more fur trim and a bandolier, but this could be epic.

That head has so much character. Using mine for a Dwarf character, which could become redundant when the Hobbit figures hit retail. So this might be a stolen idea soon... ;)

25th Snow Serpent gloves!!!

For boots, see if someone has an extra of that Baron Zemo, and if they don't want the furry boot coverings.

you could use these lower legs
Image

The are long, but obviously don't have ankle articulation. Could always cut them off, dremel them out and use them as boot covers.
