Joh Kolton Reporting

Project: Centurion

Starkk Industries "Project: Centurion" started out as one of the regular upgrades Anton Starkk developed for his "War Machine" powered armor. This particular upgrade allowed Starkk to modify his armor for environmental-specific missions through a modular augmentation system. Modular attachment ports were integrated into his Mark III weapons platform at strategically placed hardpoints allowing for quick attachment of extra weapons or other equipment Starkk required to complete his objectives. Starkk utilized this version of his armor for only a short time as he was already in development of the Mark IV weapons platform and the five modular Mark IIIs he built were put into storage until he found trustworthy operators. Aside from their duties to Starkk Industries, these "Centurions" are also valued members of my Adventure Team.

Maxx Ray: Sea Adventurer

Maxx grew up on the desert world of Tattooine, an unlikely place for an aquatic operations specialist to come from, but was enthralled by tales of the sea told to him by a Mon Calamari freighter captain who was a family friend and would visit whenever he was onworld. As soon as Maxx was able to, he signed on as a crewman for the Mon Cal and headed offworld. He spent the rest of his formative years attending the Mon Calamari branch of the Galactic University, learning everything there was to know about the oceans of the galaxy and thier denizens. Maxx eventually went to work for Starkk Industries as an oceanographer, developing several new technologies for underwater use. Maxx eventually became the operator of one of Starkk's modular armors and leader of his elite "Centurians".

Ace Miklowd: Air Adventurer

Ace is old blood Coruscanti, and it shows, but beneath his privledged exterior beats the heart of a true adventurer. Ace was flying since he was tall enough to see over the dashboard of the family airspeeder and is a natural flying ace. Ace attended the best universities and flight academies the Empire had to offer, but was against the Emperor's pilocies. After the Galactic Civil War, Ace began working for Starkk Industgries as a test pilot and aeronotics developer. Ace designed several high performance airspeeders for Starkk and eventually became the operator of one of Starkk's modular armors and member of his elite "Centurians".

Jaik Rokkwel: Land Adventurer

Jaik was born on a Jabiim,a rain-soaked world who's magnetic field played havok with repulsorlifts. Everything was done on land using wheeled, tracked or walker vehicles due to the instability that speeders encountered. Jaik learned everything there was to learn about construction, geology and ground operations, both in combat and in peacetime, eventually using these skills as a vehicle and technology developer for Starkk Industries. Jaik eventually became the operator of one of Starkk's modular armors and the tactical specialist of his elite "Centurians".

Agreed. I like the idea from you just based on the title, but mixing the two works so much better for your purposes. Plus the parts usage on all of these guys is nuts. Does the chest gun on Rokkwel flip up?

I loved these as a kid. Love these customs. The little armor parts with circles on them, PERFECT!

I picked up three of those figures for the same purpose but I never got around to it. Awesome work and exactly what I want at retail.

Thanks Guys!

I had initially wanted to do them with actual modular accessories, but it didn't work out as the thin pegs kept breaking off when trying to switch out the accessories so I scrapped the ideas for additional weapons systems (for now anyway - I have an idea as to how to represent them without actually applying them to the figures but it's far in the future).

Rokkwel's gun does not flip up, to be honest, I had forgotten that it could do that in the cartoon until Pluv mentioned it, sorry :(

I actually assembled these guys back in late 2009 but never got around to painting them until this past weekend so it feels great to finally have them done :)
