The result of Cobra-La mutation spores, or a Compound Z experiment gone wrong? "Wasss once a man!" Just a Lizard with some minor modifications and paint, but I thought it was a fun piece to add to my Cobra Commander collection. |

Subtle stuff, but it really makes a difference. |

Those are actually two right hands, as the original figure had a beefier left hand and forearm (which I used for the other reptile custom I'm working on). So in addition to removing the middle digits, I actually carved off the thumb, sanded down that side of the palm, and built up a new thumb and claw on the other side of the hand. I removed a toe on each foot, too, but I think I could have carved out and sanded a bit better because looking dead on it just look like he got too excited with his nail trimmers. Definitely want to try to do some more stages of his transformation. |

Needs more eyes. Lots more. All over his face. Including his lips. |

He sprouts all the eyes for a few scenes, but they disappear by the time he's lost his legs. Will have to go back and study the movie but this is definitely on the far side of all those eyes. |

OK, before i realized it was a Lizard figure, I thought you had sculpted the coolest Cobra Commander ever. It is a brilliant idea, I might do it myself. |

Damn that was dash cunning. My first thought when seeing that Lizard figure in the stores was what could I do to turn that figure into the Ymir from the Harryhausen film. That, or an Argonian or Iksar scouting party. |

Thanks gang! Always a little bothered when a Joe custom doesn't have the standard hip joints, but it was just a quicky so I didn't bother transplanting a t-bar. Otherwise, I'm REALLY happy with him and am glad to see him going over well. Makes me think we need some sort of "There is no bad fodder, just bad figures" slogan or something. |
