Here we have one Frodo Baggins in mordor disguise converted into an Orc for Joe scale, he's beefy enough to be a Black/Great/big'n orc/Uruk type. Gross face is gross, but it's an Orc... they're allowed to be ew. Thankfully he has a helmet and let us commence battle. And here is the Warrior front and back. No idea where his helmet is from (got it in an bulk auction last year). Armor is a Nano-viper vest with Evil-Ash from Armies of Darkness's paldrons with a Vintage Gamorrean guard's fur. Woof. All done. |

Good use of the Frodo disguise. And you're right perfect scale. I think the warrior could use armored sleeves. The sleeveless look makes him too Thor-ish and not, I don't know, medieval-ish. |

The only crit i got on that cool orc is the flesh colored arms, paint them up and he'll be awesomer, that viking type warrior is really cool, excellent use of parts on him, fantastic job all around and keep them coming. |

Can we see him with some of the Hobbit figures? |

Awesome job, and I agree about the flesh parts, though if you can get your hands on the Samwise Gamgee in Orc armor, his armor is totally covered with no flesh parts showing, and he sports that sweet Orc sword. On the same note, if you had a Gothmog head, since he is that deranged flesh color, a head swap brings a Joe sized Gothmog to your warriors. Though I am honestly loving the job you did on this head, FANTASTIC work as usual. I did the same thing, but with the 1:24 scale ones. I took all the extra Frodo/Sam in Orc armor and head swapped a bunch to make lower-order goblins. Worked fabulously. |

The fur looks convincing. What is it? |

Turns out the Flesh on the Frodo figure arms is sculpted as his undershirt, hence why I didn't paint it over (was going to but then realized), it has shirt creases and all. Thanks for the feedback chaps, I'll stick to using this thread for updates and finished Fantasy customs. Easier and organized. Now as requested, size comparisons: next up w.i.p: Elven archer here is using the Vintage Aayla Secura body with right lower arm and hands donated by the Tauriel hobbit figure (plenty on the shelves to replace the donor). Sculpted fur on the boot tops and some 80s-tastic hair and ears. Oh and the feet are from another Jedi figure. This knight has been sitting on the w.i.p bench for a while, I need to do some work on his legs and make a soft goods tabard and some fancy hardware store wire for a few belts and scabbard. Helmet is removable too, head is from Zee german Indiana Jones Motorbike rider. Orcs, sculpted different tops for them, as I don't want them to be clones. One has ear extensions and hair. Been toying with getting some Revoltech joints for ankles too. |
