Wrecking Ball is a character I created in high school and used to draw when some friends and I were planning to start our own comic book company. (Big dreams, huh?) And back when Tri-Gate Creations was still around, Asphalt had come up with a the idea of everyone creating their own three man team consisting of a Rune Knight, a Gate Walker, and a Mage. I created a Rune Knight and decided to do Wrecking Ball as my gate walker. Unfortunately finding the right parts at that time was a difficult task. The Marvel Universe line was just starting to hit. Time passed as I slowly came across more of the parts I needed and in the meantime Tri-Gate became Slayer Design Studios and I still could not find a proportionate head to use. Finally I found a cheap lot of motorcycle toys on eBay. Several of the included toys had helmets that could work for Wrecking Ball and all I had to do was sculpt the front grill and add the spikes… and here is the result. I still need to detail his power pack.

That's one tough looking guy! Does he "simply" swing with the ball and chain or is it supposed to "shoot and return" (like MK's Scorpion and his spear)?

My idea is kind of a kinetic energy weapon. He can control it mentally. It can have a varying density to where it can impact with the force of say a water balloon and the particles will scatter upon impact or it can have the full density of hardened steel. As he swings he can extend or shorten the chain's length with just a thought. In essence he could use it to grapple and swing or pull him up like an ascension gun. He can also make the ball chainless for throwing purposes.

Normally you don't want balls to the face, doubly so that beast's.

The mods to the head are really well done. Would have assumed you got it that way, had you not indicated your work.

Have to agree with the others, it just screams fun. And I've said before on other customs, when you can take characters that have been in your mind, sometimes for years, and convert them to something tangible it's awesome.

freaking awesome as hell. the spiked helmet and sleek visor plus the jacked up body and wrecking ball makes this character truly irresistibly amazing and badass! I could see this as a character in either Thundercats or He-Man.
