I was working on these projects this past week, the German long coat is my standard black trench, but I took in the back to give it a slimmer fit as oppose to the gijoe figures. I have some plans a short version, british tan coat, german grey with red black collar combo, and some Russian WWII winter coats. Coat has 2 outer pockets and 2 inner pockets The smaller building was for a client and the 2 story warehouse is a WIP i just finished the stairs, and am casting the windows, the smaller building measures 16x12x9 inches and the larger is 16x24X12 the doors are casted material as are the windows, I made an original and made copies. Construction is all MDF, with pine corners, brad nails and screws, countersunk can be covered with bondo or a puddy. the ski mask guy is a microman custom with a new camo pattern i found, i went with brown boots cuz i always goe with basic black but i wanted to try some diff combos, any feedback is greatly appreciated! for additional info drop me a pm, thanks! Great work on the building! Few things really compliment figures as well as buildings. |

thanks for checkin it out guys, will post precess pics on the warehouse, the swat truck is from Rite aid is should be some of the christmas toys, its 19.99 but i think today is the last day for 30% off kids stuff toys, so i got mine for 14.99, its a whole new mold with opening rear doors lots of room, they are really coming along with thier vehicles and the paint apps arent all lame with police everywhere, you could probably fit 8-10 guys in the back with gear, its worth the 19.99 but at 15.00 its a great get, more pics here of the otherstuff too, http://www.slide.com/r/AAPoxrPh1j_eOgJfh2kFj5Bug5DOmbID?view=original |

I like the German coat. I have that figure and the coat you made just looks 20 times better than what he came with. I can't wait to see the inside of your warehouse and how you were able to make the garage door lift up. When I made my Arbco garage I used styrene squred tubes for guides but they don't work as well as they should. |

Like those buildings a lot, and the coats are awesome as always. Here's my question: where are those brown boots from? I don't recognize them at all, but they'd be perfect for something I'm working on right now. |

well the roll up is very low tech i used 7.5 stir sticks glued to a piece of black vinyl, i used a straight edge to line it up and used 77 spraymount to glue, the vinyl has fuzz under so it helps for adhesion, then made my opening to fit the rollup, and used so additional pieces of wood to creat a "gap" for the rollup to be in, all in all i think the concept works. I might make a shroud for it. as for the boots they are copies of chap mei boot bottoms and I made some boot uppers using my vintage brown leather fabric. Ill post some updated pics of the warehouse soon, so you can see it tricked out. thanks again guys, Ive got some more ww2 stuff and some vietnam stuff in the works can you say "frag" Killa |
