Here is the last of my ''Retro'' projects for now (I have some more, just need to find some time to shoot them). I've wanted a VAMP II repaint of the 25th anny mold since it was released. Since Hasbro seems to have moved on to the PoC version of the VAMP, I figured I'd make my own version.

Enjoy!

Oh very nice. At first the missle rack looked a little too big but then I realized I was just comparing to the original. It actually looks meaner and more aggressive this way.

Clutch is good too. I'd like that if it were released.

If I'm seeing correctly on my tiny work computer screen, it looks like you detailed the seats to stand out. That's a very nice touch to a very nice custom.

Why doesn't Hasbro do more of this stuff? Great job!

nostalgia at its finest. I like a lot of the Hasbro offerings post 25A, but this is a great example of where they missed some opportunities by not returning to that line.

I second Keenan's comment. It does look like it just came out of the box. Super clean and retro. I love it!! I'm assuming that's a Snowcat missile rack. It really makes the vehicle.

Maybe a Retaliation Ninja Combat Cruiser missile rack. It will be nice when those hit the stores again. I have some ideas.

Thanks guys. The best part is the MMS, Howitzer and Whirlwind that I posted earlier this week, are the same shade of beige/khaki, so I have a matching set. I'll try to shoot them together on the weekend and post some pics...

The rack is from the PoC Snowcat (Wolfhound, I think it was called). It was just a matter of dremelling the hole in the back of the VAMP to make it wide enough to fit the rack connector.
