Adventure Team Mission Debriefing

Casefile: "The Mystery Of The Stone Skull!"

Joh Kolton Reporting
:

Before we could protest and declare our innocence, we were under fire! Massively powerful violet and azure energy bolts began to explode all around us. Miik transformed his arms in preparation to defend and Ben activated his Omnitrix, ready to transform into one of his amazing alien life forms. A massive dark purple felinoid clad in dark green armor bearing a cloaked rider burst into the clearing followed by a handful of strangely dressed warriors and a dark colored avian.

The felinoid discharged it's rider and lunged at Ben, who had just enough time to transform into his "Wildmutt" persona to wrestle with the beast, narrowly avoiding both it's wickedly sharp front talons and it's gnashing teeth! A bald, one-eyed swordsman began a whirling dance with his ebon blades, deflecting all of my stun blasts with amazing speed and accuracy. The cloaked rider, now revealed as a humanoid with a hideous skull face, began launching more azure blasts at Miik. A stunning female clad in black leather began firing violet energy bolts at all of us and causing tremors in the very ground under our feet. The avian made diving, slashing attacks at us as oppotunities presented themselves.

Ben managed to toss aside the felinoid and changed into another form he calls "Echo Echo" and used that form's sonic attack to knock our attackers back. Ben then used another of Echo Echo's abilities, this time that of spontaneous replication, and formed a wall in front of us using his copies, allowing us precious seconds to regroup and try to explain our intentions to our attackers.

As we tried to explain to the denizens of Eternos that we came in peace and meant them no harm, the skull faced rider, apparently the leader of this band of powerful warriors, pointed his glowing staff at us and spoke in a deep, threatening voice: "Beware, interlopers. You seek what is rightfully mine and no one but the Worthy may approach the Oracle of Greyskull! Go no further or die!"

Ben, ever the impatient youth, replied in his usual well thought out way through all of Echo Echo's many mouths, "Oh, Yeah?", and unleashed a devestating wall of sonic energy. The skull faced man simply raised his staff and projected an azure shield over which Ben's sonic waves simply crashed against doing little more than stirring up a dust cloud and giving us all ringing headaches. As the dust cleared, the warriors of Eternos simply stared at us and powered up their weapons to launch another volly. Before their deadly energy could be released, we heard another voice from behind us declare deafiningly:

"By The Power Of Greyskull!"

A flash of intense white light filled the clearing and we were blinded...

Very cool and creative work, i wouldn't mind seeing some more purple on Evil Lynn's skirt, awesome job on the paints, this is a story i will follow with anticipation, as well with the customs.

These are phenomenal.

I've never wanted representations of these characters in my 'verse, and now I do.

Fantastic figures and great back story too.
I didn't remember that Ben 10 was also part of your world.

These are all amazing - and that Skeletor kicks eleven types of ass.

REALLY impressed with the paint work on Panthor, though - I haven't been blown away like that in a while - just plain incredible.

Thanks Guys!

Chief - Glad you like Panthor's paint apps! He took the longest of all of the figures to paint and I had a blast doing all of the drybrushing. His eyes are blacklight reactive and glow an eerie green.

JBYRRD - I initially was going to do alot more purple on Evil-Lyn but decided that this was a case of "less is more" and just went with some small accents. My favorite part of this custom is the itty bitty "Ramstone" from the 200X cartoon on her left thigh.

Kambei - As for parts, Skeletor is mostly a MU Taskmaster, Blade is mostly a POC Zartan (Screech is this same figure's raptor) and Evil-Lyn is mostly a ROC Baroness. There are a ton of other parts and bitz added to all of them. Panthor is primarily a Chap Mei sabertoothed cat from their MOTU knock-off line heavily modified and extensively repainted.

There is one more part of this story, look for it sometime in August!

I peed a little when I got to Blade. Those are great. I need to eventually add Skeletor to my league of cartoon villains, I may very well be stealing a few ideas from you.
