Letal and Sgt Slaughter

I wanted my own version of Brazil exclusive Forca Electronica (Sonic Fighter) Letal so I made one. It's heavily inspired by the original figure, obviously, because it worked I just approached it with the thought "if Estrela was making these now with modern format parts, this how they'd have done it." I gave him Recondo's satellite backpack as a nod to the Sonic Dodger commo/comptuter backpack Letal was equipped with had.

I'm a kid of the 80s who was (and still am) a drooling fanboy of Robert Remus' character in the GIJoe universe... but I didn't like either version of the SDCC scalper bait Sgt Slaughter figure enough to pay through the nose for one.

(Oh and I wanted one that would fit with the Slaughter's Marauders from the 7-pack)

oh and I fixed up Falcon a bit... his boots needed contrast to make them JUNGLE BOOTS

Letal is a custom after my own heart. Interesting call sticking with him as a sonic fighter instead of a Frag Viper but it works. Really like the look of that back pack painted gold and the shading on the helmet is subtle but awesome. Nice job adding detail to that Duke vest too.

Sarge is real solid too. The face looks a lot like him and he fits quite well with the other Marauders.

part of me wants to make Footloose and Mutt too but the other part of me feels this project is complete even if the original team lineup isn't. I'm glad Hasbro added Falcon to the roster as I'd never have thought of it.

I would lower the head a bit on Letal otherwise great job on both!

Letal's helmet paints really sell it for me. Good stuff.
