seeing alot of custom Gray Fox figures in the last few months inspired me to make one myself
Gray Fox, formerly known as Null, was the codename of FOXHOUND agent Frank Jaeger. Originally a child soldier for FRELIMO, he was the only active field agent of FOXHOUND to achieve the codename "Fox," FOXHOUND's highest commemoration, and was decorated five times. Fox was Solid Snake's war buddy and best friend after the Outer Heaven Uprising, but Fox's loyalty to Big Boss forced him to betray Snake during the Zanzibar Land Disturbance. He survived his injuries during his battle with Snake and was outfitted with a powered exoskeleton and given intense gene therapy. He confronted Snake as a neutral force during the Shadow Moses Incident before dying at the hands of Liquid Snake via Metal Gear REX.

Star Wars "Vortex" I love making Mandos now because it also helps me use of fodder that I wouldnt normally use for other projects
Vortex is your basic Mando but he loves getting dirty and makes most of his fortune on the more desolate outer rim planets were most bounty's tend to hide.
He also takes up hunting just for fun to help keep him on his game.
Don't make him mad or give him a reason to turn you into game because it will happen
Parts:
Head: Iron Man head with parts from POC Beachead helmet and Clone Wars trooper sculpted to blend
Shoulder armor Clone Trooper
Torso: Upper is Iron Man with very lower t-bar joe figure
Upper Arms: POC Destro with Clone Wars trooper Elbows and Movie Captain America Gloves
Upper Legs: 25th BBQ
Lower legs: Resolute Trooper with ROC Viper Boots
Stand is a Krexx/Slayer design custom sculpt
Gun is a mixture of POC Destro and HunterArtworks Warhammer cast copy gun
Backpack Star Wars modern vintage Boba Fett

Just scrolling down the page. Gray Fox is nice, even though I never played MG. Vortex is really good. Then I got to Deadpool and WOW! :wow: I would buy that at retail.

yeah, Snake - solid (phrasing!), Gray Fox - pretty cool.

Vortex - whoa! more on that below

then Deadpool - holy hell that's cool. Of the lot, just at first glance, Deadpool looks like a production 6" figure. Job well done.

Back to Vortex, he's an awesome looking character, and I dig your running Mando project. But I almost have to say you're doing this figure a disservice by making him a Mando, because he's so damn original and cool looking. He looks like a primo army builder type for many a sci-fi verse. If you could make multiples, it could easily represent some character's high-end security team in your Desolation stories as well.

Just a thought, but the figure rocks regardless.

Vortex rocks! Great detail work on DP. The head looks just a tad large to me on Fox, but other than that great figure.
