Looks great. I would maybe add something around his neck like a scarf or bandana because the neck looks a little skinny for the head. He NEEDS the dirt on his face though. That's one thing I really liked about the original. Maybe tape off the shape of the goggles around his eyes and give him a little paint wash on his face.

I think I'm going to copy this one, but with a different head if I can find a good one.

WOW! I really like this, great idea. The only thing I would have done is make the green a tad darker, but thats just my personal color preferance. He looks great as is.

man, I can use some paint but trying to make that dirt convincing would have a nightmare. besides, there is some random grit on his face that came from just natural handling of the putty and some paint residue off the brush handle, it looked okay but the camera didn't pick it up very well. :-/

very cool that you're taking a cue from this for your own, definitely a great compliment! looking forward to seeing the results, be sure to show it off!

ehhh, I don't have an '85 figure to use as a color reference and neither of my Joe collector friends had one availible so I had to use pictures and just get as close as I could from that. :-(

thanks for the praise, folks!
