Post subject:  Too Many Ninjas? Custom Arishikage I-Ching Display
I've decided that I like my dozen + Storm Shadows ... but am running out of room to display them.

I've had this kicking around in my head for a couple weeks, got inspired to give it a shot - thought I would try it with foam first, maybe wood this spring/summer, when I can work in the shop.

I dig the idea, but would dig it even more if the stones that aren't connected where more even on their lengths. Or distressed in a manner as if they had been worn down over time.

That cartoon Storm Shadow looks too cartoon-y, imo... :chiefty:


Also - neat idea. Especially using the foil ball to texture the foam. I've got to grab some of that stuff one of these days. Every time I'm at Lowe's I forget to look.

Is that what that was for? I thought he was just showing us he ate lunch before finishing. :rimshot:

Really creative way to display those guys. Now figure out how to do that same thing as a wall hanging display so I can have a Snake Eyes and Jinx vs Red Ninjas battle Retaliation in 3D style.

I think I'm going to try this with thicker foam next, with a smaller footprint.
