In my mind General Hawk is more of an administrator than an infantry man, so although the POC version was cool, I wanted one that looked more like a general and less like a mercenary. I got the SRO Hawk from ChaosX in a trade, hollowed out a General Tomahawk head, and added the legs from an ROC Senior Ranking Officers Grunt. I was unhappy with Hasbro’s molded green arms not matching the torso very well, but didn’t wanna bother with a repaint. In person the legs look like a much closer match to the torso, but in the pictures the camera flash made me see that they are not so much. Oh well… I might do a repaint one day, but for now he will do.

The legs do a better job than the arms do matching the green on the torso. If it were me I'd repaint it all without the camo because I really like the parts combo.

I think the camo pants do not go well with the non-camo blouse. You should go all camo or all no camo. My vote would be all no-camo to reinforce the "admin" nature of your Hawk.

Terrific job on converting the head. That looks grey and spot on. I always loved the C-cap on Hawk

I agree with both of you. When I do repaint him I will be ditching the camo.

The camo would look fine if the shirt was a different shade or color.

I liked him before but the all same scheme makes him feel like he popped out of the Comic Book!

The one color does look better. (Not that I minded it before at all.)

The Update looks much better. I still find his FUPA/ Diaper Crotch distracting and think you could trim it down a tad... but then I'm also used to the aesthetics of ARAH 0-ring figures.
