My take on the early appearances of The Baroness.

DUDE!

Great Job!

The [lack of] articulation is perfect for that era - if Hasbro had gone the Kenner way ...

Really, this custom is inspired -- well done, sir!

Thanks, guys.

This is a really bland uniform, so I can appreciate Hasbro not ever making it. They could have come really, really close just by recoloring a 25A Scarlett torso and adding a snap-on padding piece to sit over the shoulders/neck and another snap-on padding piece to go around the waist.

I wish I had sculpted the padding around the waist a bit thinner.

The bottom of the torso comes down a bit lower than it should. I think that's because Hasbro (or was it Kenner?) had it hidden behind the broad Leia loincloth so they didn't worry about it. I should have reworked it, but I didn't notice it until the paint was already applied.

Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it. The NS Baroness head, much to my surprise, worked even better than a Resolute Baroness head I could have used. The high neck collar really helped complete the look.
