that's pretty bad ass. I like where you went with him. Seems all business.

That is a slick looking figure. Very realistic. Would love to see it with an OG shield and helm but even without it still wicked looking.

Well... since I'm a fan of "real world" more than rainbow troops, he gets no orange. :D

Thanks, guys.

That's an awesome urban trooper.
Well done.

You misrepresent yourself, sir.

You did give him orange. One of the things that I really liked was the subtle orange detailing on the goggles and sights. For me, that's what kept it from just looking like another Firefly...

Love the work...the actual craftsmanship is faultless...but I don't get an Alley Viper feel from this one...

While I see that you're going for a "real world" feel...There are some elements that are definitive of the Alley Viper...things like the aggressively shaped shield, face shield, the color orange, the shape of the helmet, the Backpack w/ Grapple gun... You can delete one or two of those elements and still have an Alley Viper, but when they're all gone it's hard to see the figure as an Alley Viper...

I think it'd be much more interesting to call him a "Mugger Viper" or "Riot Viper" something along those lines...where he's clearly an urban operator but differentiated from the ranks of Alley Vipers. Maybe instead of a SWAT team Cobra has a STRIKE team...

Either way, I like the effect you went for on the eyes...It'd be pretty intimidating to be in a Dark section of the City and suddenly 1 or a few pairs of those Red eyes just snap appear out of the dark...

Thanks... but he's still an AV to me. :-P

Edit:
Interesting... the AV file card pretty much sums this guy up in a nutshell.

I agree with Nova in that it doesn't have a traditional Alley Viper feel. However, given that you're going for a "real world" feel, I could see these being integrated into the movie universe.

If you face him the AV shield, that's would definitely give this a home run as an Alley-Viper.

Very cool figure, has a Killzone vibe to him.
