From now on, all my custom post apocalypse vehicles from GI Joe Cobrapocalypse will be in one thread. I was planning on releasing only 3 vehicles and then resuming customizing in 2016 but I was recently inspired to make more vehicles. I've already shown The Dreadnok Dumper and The Dreadnokout. I updated The Dreadnok Dumper by weathering the wheels and I just love the new look. This dump truck from hell has seen some serious action. Check it out! Today I finished my newest GI Joe Cobrapocalypse vehicle --- The GI Joeggernaut "Blast Charge". I'll post a detailed review later this week. For now, here's a teaser: |

The Dreadnok Dumper (revised) Someone from another forum recommended that I sand the wheels. I weathered the wheels and clearly, it looks better than ever. So to that forum member who offered constructive criticism, I say "thank you very much!" I did a couple other revisions such as moving the gasoline cans to a more appropriate area and adding 2 black crates (with removable lids) to the makeshift roof basket. |

The spring semester is almost done and I’ll be taking 2 classes this summer. Recently, I got a 33/30 on a quiz so that’s 3 extra points for extra credit. And I just finished a custom vehicle, which proves that you can go to school, customize toys in your free time, and still be successful in school, contrary to what someone said in this forum. More surprising than excelling in school is the fact that I was able to accomplish this custom despite having serious health issues for the past 4 years. If I were in 100% prime condition, I would have unlimited energy. Hence, one of the main reasons I am pursuing a Master’s Degree is to get 100% health benefits. I am relieved that this custom vehicle is finally complete. It took at least a year and I kept thinking I was never going to find the parts. Ironically, most of the necessary parts had been lying around in boxes or out in the open. I’m glad I didn’t throw anything out at the time because I learned what I like to call “The Golden Rule” in customizing: Never ever discard anything because you may end up needing it! This custom vehicle was extremely challenging. I struggled countless times on what to add, how to make it work, etc. Well, without any further delay, here is the GI Joeggernaut “Blast Charge”. |

GI JOE Cobrapocalypse – GI Joeggernaut: Blast Charge COBRA isn’t the only threat lurking in Cobrapocalypse a.k.a. Earth. There are killions of zombies and zombeasts thirsty for the taste of blood and flesh! Based on Caterpillar dump trucks, GI Joeggernauts are the first line of ground defense for the Joes. Their massive size combined with their speed, durability, and versatility makes them renowned juggernauts of the road. There were three GI Joeggernauts until Ripper, Torch, and Buzzer stole one, renamed it The Dreadnok Dumper, and used it to destroy the second Joeggernaut. Since then, Duke and his team have safeguarded the third and last GI Joeggernaut known as Blast Charge. Like previous Joeggernauts, Blast Charge shares common characteristics such as a fortified driver’s cabin, an artificial intelligence dual barreled cannon, and “The Balcony” with two fully rotating seats and storage for weapons and tools. Blast Charge’s flatbed contains a storage unit that transports equipment, an arsenal of weapons, a dirt bike, and spare tires for RAMkenstein. The Dreadnoks loathe Blast Charge and are intent on its destruction because Blast Charge damaged three of their prized vehicles --- The Dreadbuster, The Dreadbadger, and The Dreadscorpion. In the end, it will be Joeggernaut against Joeggernaut --- Blast Charge vs. The Dreadnok Dumper! Makeshift tailgate Ramp 3 spare tires for RAMkenstein 4 gasoline cans stored and secured by chain with functional clasp Arsenal Hidden weapons in crates The Dreadnok Dumper and The GI Joeggernaut "Blast Charge" |

I love true custom (pieced together) vehicles, as many already know. And your Mad Max style customs are great. My only critique is that you should go out of your way to find the smallest diameter bolt you can find. A reebar size bolt in real is believable but your bolts would be lamp post size in real life. I am sure that bolts that size exist but do not think that they would be likely to be used in post apocalypse vehicles. But even with the over sized bolts I love these. Great as they are would be even better with smaller diameter bolts. |
