The One Man Army Corp in all his seventies Kirby glory. Pretty simple recipe the upper half is a MU Gladiator with MU Daredevil legs added apoxie sculpt for the collar, leg and arm bands. Hope you like and leave feedback, Thanks.

I'd forgotten how that character had started.

Really well done.

I like it, but the thighs look too puny, esp when it looks like they're skinnier than his neck. I'm betting you used them for the swivel, but I bet some Doc Samson thighs would look a lot better. Very nice paintwork, tho. I dig that orange.

Thanks guys I have plans to continue with more characters from the Kirbyverse in the near future. And I did use the legs for the swivel but it doesn't look that puny in person. I thought the regular Gladiator legs were a bit large for what I was going for.

I was glad when I clicked on this thread that it was the Kirby version. One of his most under-rated creations, in my opinion. Great job on the sculpting and the paint work. I agree that the legs seem a little slender compared to the torso, but at the same time, it reflects Kirby's wonky anatomy well.

Looks good. Is this a Marvel or DC character?

Here's some new pics of OMAC. Also here's an update to my Hawkman using the MU Angel wings.

Thanks, I 've given up on DC Direct or Mattel doing anything decent in the 3 3/4"- 4" universe. If you want one of their characters done right get the parts and do it yourself.

You nail the Omac figure. Angel's wings on Hawkman are much better.

Hawkman looks perfect to me. I only know this version of OMAC from the bigger figure I saw previewed in an old Toy Fare mag. But it looks dead on as well.

You had to mention Toyfare, man I miss that magazine :-( But thanks for the kind words. I want to make Shayera (Hawkgirl) at some point (Need the head) and a classic Hawkman using the Namor buck that Spin Doctor used and the IH head painted orange and yellow. and for an alternate head Captain America for his 40s JSA look. Need Parts!!!! :verymad: :verymad: :verymad:
