These are cool in a comicbook/cartoon way, but they need the rank stripes on the bottom of their sleeves. BTW- if you need Phasers to arm them with, hit up my Swap Shop |

The work is clean, but I don't think I share the Vision... I can't help but think of the "Super Buff" POTF II figures when looking at these too... Even for the new Trek films they just seem a little too beefy. Also the Extreme "V" of their torso directs my eyes right to the waist...and I'm not sure what the shirt/pant joint is doing...are they wearing a jumper? shirts tucked into pants? Anything other than Trek I'd suggest a belt...I'm not sure what to do here...but it bothers me. |

I was just wondering if anyone was trying to make some Trek customs. I was also thinking of trying some but I'm too behind on my other customs. I would have used some modern Joe bodies instead. yes way too buff! what bodies are you using? It's too bad Hasbro didn't make any figures for the movie. I guess they didn't want them to compete with the Star Wars line. |

All my customs are to Marvel U scale so these are Doc Strange torsos so not so buff in the scale of my line. |

Great work Ironwill- the Kirk reminds me of the actor doingStar trek continuing voyages (fan film) Goldbug wrote: I was just wondering if anyone was trying to make some Trek customs. A great complement to our Spock, though I agree that the latter should probably be slightly taller than Kirk. The buffness of the torsos don't bother me at all. The arms look a little exaggerated in thickness/ripped news, but if all of your figures are that way it makes sense in context. That said, since you aren't going for total accuracy/realism, I'd suggest giving them belts to address the shirt/pant transition Nova mentioned. |
