Hello JoeCustomizers,

This is my vision of a 30th/PoC/Whateverelseyouwanttocallit Crystal Ball. Let me know your thoughts on it...

Parts list:

Torso, upper arms: Resolute Zartan
Lower arms: Thor (movie version)
Hands: Russian Soldier (Indiana Jones KOTCS)
Legs: RoC Mars Trooper
Feet: ???
Gun belt: Star Wars figure, don't remember which one...
Pistol: Col. Nick Fury (Avengers)
Head sculpt: modified Retaliation Joe Trooper

Yes, I know he is missing his hypno-shield thingy; don't have one. Besides, I envision him as Cobra Commander's seer and cup bearer, as well as a fine interrogator.

...And speaking of the Commander, here is my Sideshow inspired version of ol' rag top...

crystal ball looks pretty good, he did gain some weight over the years.
CC looks pretty good too.

Maybe a light blackwash over the grey on the hair and 'stache on CB. The white kind of stands out as less smooth than the rest of the custom.

He also looks a little bewildered. Not sure what you might do about that, unless you want to maybe shade the eyes a little with a very wet blackwash.

CB's body is very OK, well done. The head....dunno.....he actually looks like a nice man now. But maybe that's just because I'm used to the ARAH evil grin version.

Cobra Commander looks FANTASTIC.

But I agree with TIm 121RVC, Crystal Ball looks like a kindly older fellow instead of an insane hypnotist.

That's a great commander. Did you paint the blue, or does it just match up that well? The gold makes it pop really well.

It is a complete repaint, using Vallejo paint, Prussian Blue. I like the color for the Commander... a lot...

Well done on CC!
I gotta agree with the other guys though, the white on CB is too strong AND he looks like a nice guy.
