I've been meaning to get this one done for a good long while. Using the Armored Cobra Commander body for a modernized HISS Driver was a great idea, but it was kind of ruined with ill-fitting Pilot Destro armor put on the body. I thought repainting the armor details on the body proper would make the figure look better.

The big issue with getting this one done has been finding a suitable belt... I still haven't, really. He borrowed this one from a Captain America figure I have until I can find something else that works.

I thought about adding more paint detail to the armor on the arms, but I thought it might end up distracting from the classic HISS Driver look I was going for.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks!

It is a good fit, but it belongs to my Cap figure. I want to put it back on him eventually, so I'm looking for alternatives.

And, in honor of Big Brawler Day, I've finished this Big Brawler custom I've had in the works ever since stumbling upon this perfect Big Brawler head here. Took a look at a few options for the body, including the new Taurus, to try and homage the flashier versions, but ultimately Bench-Press's body proved most fitting. After all a lot of us back in '09 said Bench-Press looked more like Big Brawler than Rock'n'Roll.

If you have one the ROC RIA figure belts work pretty well on the BACC figure.

That HISS driver reminds me of one of the reasons i still have a connection to 'joe. It's damn attractive. That armor is eye candy for toy fans.

Nice job on both. You gave Brawler a bit of his dignity back. The head is perfect!

Wow, thanks!

Well... that wasn't entirely my intention.
The head was specifically picked out for its ressemblance to Christopher Lowell. I guess the costume itself is more dignified. It was surprisingly difficult to find a BIG body base that's as wacky as his other versions...

And thanks to Raginspoon's fine products, my HISS Driver now has a permanent belt!
