BF2K Project - As MARS has made itself agressively incorperated into Cobra's tech and armorments. This partnership has placed them ahead of the cutting edge of weapons and vehicles. A unit was fielded to Research and Develop Arms and equipment for the Joe team. The cantidates are among the toughest and most determined recruits the Joe team has had to date.

Avalanche:

Spent most of his youth in the woods of Maine. As the middle son of a long line of bootleggers, smuggler and poachers he was well aware of the need to get tough and hone the survival techniques he had developed into his trademark. Rather than joining the family business he opted for joining the Army. His training evaluation had excellent and perfect marks, his disciplinary file however is the exact opposite. He was given an option to avoid court martial, The Slaughterhouse... He mentioned once it was most fun he has had in his life. It's in his nature to push everything to it's limit, which made him the perfect field tester for any arctic equipment the Joe team is working on. If it still works after a week it's good to go active. His preferred vehicle was the Dominator. Avalance along with most of the BF2K unit was KIA during the liberation of Benzheen.

Blaster:

Has from time ti time been acused being somewhat single minded...His obsession with improving and developing hovercraft technnology gained little merit in his lifetime. He had actual working diagnostic designes for fusion powered turrican turbines that could make the USS FLagg airborne. His other passion was music, loud and pounding rock beats often brough him and CrossCountry to odds over who's battle songs where better. Blaster was amoung the casualties of the artillery strike on the oil refinery while trying to provide renforments to a pinned down unit in the capital city of Benzheen.

Oh wow. Wow x2. Battle Force 2000 and Sigma 6 are a good fit in a lot of ways, but I never realized how well the two concepts could cross over.

In terms of customization, that Avalanche is a brilliant. I never thought of the Shockwave vest as a versatile piece, but it adds a great layer of bulk to bring out the environmental protection of his uniform. I can even see it working like an electric blanket, something he can just turn off when he's on non-arctic BF2k missions. He's just shy a pair of nunchucks to tie him into his ARAH figure.

Blaster is something else. Connecting his webgear to his Sigma ports is a technique that adds variety to Sigma 6 customs, which is really important. In this case it makes him look slightly higher tech than the average Sigma 6 figure, which is important for BF2k customs. The colours look great, especially with the chest armour.

Another series of customs I'm really looking forward from you.

citadel snot green for the suit and the chest armor is drybrushed chainmail over drybrushed shining gold on top of snot green. the visor goes along way at departing from the he-man origin

I'll be doing them in their released pairing. 3 down Dodger and Knockdown are next, then Blocker and Maverick and ending them with DeeJay and Coolbreeze

Couldn't agree more.

Avalanche works very well. Easily recognizable yet different. Blaster is very generic looking but then again so is his original figure.

You made Avalanche seem cool. That's quite a feat.

Blaster is rad.

Sure, some people. Like people who have both an Avalanche figure and working eyeballs. :shifty:

I've been MIA, work, chasing a girl and out of town schenanigans... but.. worries that my resource pool was dwindleing have cleared as I just bought 70 pounds of sigma parts, Dodger and Knockdown will be up in the next week or so, blocker and Maverick are already planned out, cleaning up the rest of 1987 I've already done and getting to work on the rest
