Were Phoenix's spikes a pain-in-the-ass to adhere? Did you drill out the contact areas? Looks great.

Both are very well done, but Phoenix is something special.

That spike detailing must have been painstaking.

Well worth the effort, though.

The spike weren't too bad. I just rolled the green stuff to where it was pointy on both ends. let it dry and then cut the piece in half. A little dot of super glue for each one is holding them in place.

This figure was a bit of a pain--I used greenstuff, apoxie and sculpey to do the fur and costume.
Head is an Spylounge head with sculpted hair.
Main body is a regular MU female buck.
Glove cuffs are from MU Black Bolt -trimmed a bit to make them fit better
Hands and feet are a Hobbit Gollum.

Feral looks good, I always thought it'd be cool to have/see customs of her

Head - Indiana Jones with sculpted hair.
Cape - Resolute Cobra Commander shawl - modified.
Torso and legs - DCIH President Lex. A lot of sculpted torso work. Added the suit pockets, and made the suit a three button number.
Arms 25h Anni Wild Bill
Hands- Gandalf (for some reason I thought the fingerless gloves really worked for the "shabby" lookingness of Mastermind. Sure he's in a suit but he looks like he slept in it.)

Great stuff!
It's all fantastic, but I think my favorite is the Syrn, she looks factory made.
I also agree that the Gandalf gloves just seem to fit with Mastermind. Good call!

I can't believe I almost forgot about your Banshee. That is still, hands down, the absolute best custom I've ever seen of him.

Well now you've got me cursing you, because I just realized that I have all of the parts to make that Siryn, and even a yellow Firestar body to use as the base. However I was holding on to that Firestar body to make a Crystal figure for my Inhumans.
Now I have to decide which one to make with my parts. :verymad:

Damn you! ;-)
