No fancy story yet - though it stands to reason that Zinda first made a name for herself in the elite EXCAL air brigade (alongside Kara Thrace and others) during the MEDUSA War. With EXCAL disbanded, old heroes are slowly meandering back to their respective places of origin. For Lady Blackhawk, I have the place being a version of the Birds of Prey.

This is the core version of the figure for me, but I am working on both an alternate head and an alternate upper torso (I have secured the joint using a magnet for swap-ability).

That is fantastic Dennis!
I will also ask how you came about that skirt, because it is perfect.
Any plans to add some holsters for those pistols?

Ideas for the best way to store them on the figure? Double shoulder harness?

A couple months ago, after seeing some great inspiration shots in general customizing, I looked for and bought a couple of 'Lil Bratz toy lots on ebay, primarily for dio fodder. One of the lots had some random clothing and accessories in it. This skirt is one such item. With no shame whatsoever, I can say that I wish I had 3 or 4 more of them.

It is actually a cheerleader skirt, and was both black and pink. The good news is that the pink was simply painted on the lower panels, so it took black paint with ease, to cover it up. the fabric itself was already black.

thanks for the comments guys

EDIT: Part List.
Head: Juno Eclipse + POTC Liz Swan Hair + Avengers Assemble Red Skull hat + waterslide decal
Torso: cast from a Stocos sculpt. I actually have two different ones, and the upper and lower are swapped from between the two. But I did this so that I could keep one lower torso, etc... and swap the other via magnets + waterslide decal
Skirt: see above
Legs: Upper from MU Medusa, lower from MU Ms. Marvel, boots from ROC Cover Girl

I like it. I'd go with the shoulder harness for the holsters.

I agree.
I think a double shoulder harness would be best for her.

Garter holster. Have to give her a derringer or something for it though.

For what she has? Yeah, shoulder rig.

Love the Lady Blackhawk figure. Great idea about the skirt. I toyed with the idea of using Polly Pocket acccessories once, but never got around to trying them.

Neat! I'm only slightly familiar with the character, but I know who she is and that she's part of the BoP. Surprised that the hat works so well on a female head.

Did you ever make a Huntress fig?
