This first one was set up by him - he then said: "Luke works at the lunch counter of the Death Star now" then giggled. He proceeded to play out a scene using (what I think is) a mine sweeper as a "pancake flipper" to have Luke make pancakes for everyone at the table. An argument ensues about the pancakes, which ends up with Luke and Darth arguing which day of the week it was that Vader made him turn to the dark side (turns out it was a Thursday).

Wish I was a better artist - some of this material he gives me could make a comic to give Axe-Cop a run for it's money...

But I digress.

Scene 1:

I thought it was a clever enough idea as it was, but it also made me think of Eddie Izzard's Vader in the cafeteria bit: "this tray's wet, this tray's wet..."

Language is NSFW

(Can't get the link to load, will fix later)

Scene 2:
posed by my son (caption by me :shifty:)
Image
"[LASER BLAST] you will bring me, hmmmmm?"

med - I agree. My boy is still more like the director. Do this, take a picture of that. lol

Also - I got that Eddie Izzard clip to load. Check it out, it almost makes this thread worthwhile by itself ;)

Wow. It's hard to believe he's 5. Great to see him carrying on the creative tradition. Maybe we should give him the title of "Internbindy" since he's not old enough for the dr status.

yeah, can't believe he's 5 either. he's been customizing with me since he was 2 ;) I have a handful of figures that I put together based on parts he suggested. And I did make up a little story for them. I figure they'll see the light of day at some point.

watching him rummage through a bin of heads to see what he wanted to make, when he was just 3 or so, is still one of my favorite things.

more silliness. I got "The Bat" for Luke on clearance at Wal-mart, so he's been stuck in his bat-verse all day long. He was upset that he didn't have a suitable vehicle for The Joker to ride in. Which prompted this. I'm actually kind of glad to have found a real use for this thing, to be honest ;)

(oh, and he has a better Joker than that, which I made for him, but he wasn't sure where he was this morning.)

As I mentioned in a critiques thread, my son has been playing with my Moon Knight custom the last couple days. Today he called me while I was at work (as he does) to run through a number of questions about my progress on the MK custom I am making for him, but also about the character itself.

Between that call and when I got home, he basically created his own running story, and he showed me these two figures with the following commentary (which he totally came up with on his own).

Image

"See Dad, they work as partners. They do well together, but Moon Knight isn't happy being partners, because Wolverine is mad all the time, and Moon Knight thinks he's going to have to take him down."

So yeah, basically my 5 year old just came up with - in 50 words or less - the plot for the BEST BUDDY COP MOVIE EVER!

lol.

well, he's 6 now, but I thought this one was funny:

Also, getting a head start with the 1 and 1/2 year old. This was kind of a chocolate in the peanut butter moment. He had gone through some bath toys and was carrying one of these in each hand. When I showed him how cool they were to combine he played this way for awhile, complete with sound effects. I give you the most stealthy vehicle ever created for bathtime warfare:
