Anton Stark
Growing up Anton heard stories of his ancestor Tony Stark the armored billionaire super hero who went by the name of Iron Man, and how he, and his fellow Avengers laid down their lives in the last stand against Galactus, and together forced him to leave the earth in peace. He dreamed of flying through space in an armor of his own, and fighting off space born enemies. The Iron Man armory however had been lost in the destruction of old New York, and though parts of the old Stark family mansion were believed to be intact no one had been down there in over a century. However Anton always dreamed of exploring the ruins in hope of finding at least some piece of his family's heritage. Even so he joined Star Fleet as a science officer, and learned all there was to know about the Warp Core Generator, and the very similar Arc Reactor in hopes that IF he ever did find one of the Iron Man armors he might be able to build one of his own, and power it.

While home on shore leave one week he decided that he had dreamed, and imagined enough. It was time to go spelunking into the old Stark Mansion, and see if any of what he had heard, and dreamed were true. As he lowered himself down through the ceiling of the armory he focused his flash light on the wall where the armors had once stood proud, and instead he saw mechanical arms, legs, heads, and torsos hanging all over the plat forms. Upon reaching the floor he picked up one of the chest plates, and the image of Tony Stark's head shot forth from the Arc Reactor causing Anton to drop it revealing the rest of Tony in his MK VI armor, and began playing his last recording. A last will, and testament in case he didn't survive the battle with Galactus. He implored his descendants to take up the mantle of the Iron Man, and use it to protect the earth, and 2 pods behind Anton opened revealing 2 of the most advanced Iron Man armors Tony had made before his demise. Which Anton immediately began looking over. As he studied the armors Admiral Nicholas Fury the 18th walked up behind Anton, and asked him what he thought he was doing in the ruins siting that it was illegal to explore them w/o a permit, and as a Star Fleet officer he could face court martial for such an infraction. As Anton's face went white Fury bellowed w/ laughter explaining that he had been waiting for Anton or any Stark descendant to actually explore down there, and find the last armors, hoping that maybe they could be added to Star Fleet's armaments. Then Fury went on to explain that though Galactus had fled from the earth those 300 plus years ago Fury had just recently been made aware by the Silver Surfer that after having been interupted while dining on a planet by a Star Fleet ship Galactus followed the Warp trail back to the earth, and that Star Fleet High Command believed a blockade to be the best defense plan. However even a thousand ships wouldn't stop the new heralds: Super Skrull, Ultron, and Thanos.

Anton asked what he could possibly do against such foes if even a thousand ships wouldn't be able to stop them, and Fury said "You alone? None, but we've got some friends I want you to meet. Go put your hands on the chests of those armors." Anton looked at him puzzlingly, and went ahead, and did as he was ordered. Then Fury clicked his comm badge, and said "Ensign Parker, 2 personel, and 2 armors to beam up. They arrived on the USS Avenger, in a science lab that had been set up for armor experimentation and Fury headed for the door telling Anton to get to work, Avenger assembly at 0800.

Parts lists:
head: modded IM2 RDJ head cast
body: RoC Pitt Duke w/ sculpted comm badge, and waist detailing

Iron Man of 2374
As Anton studied the 2 armors he had brought aboard the Avenger he wondered if the Arc reactor technology would be compatible with warp drive technology, but first he needed an armor. So taking parts from the 2 armors he salvaged Anton built his own version of the Iron Man armor with the assistance of JARVIS in the image of his creator Tony Stark. He painted it in a decor similar to a star fleet ship, leaving the red chest to give the armor a little of the Stark family flair, and coated it with the same coating that Star Fleet ships are coated with to allow them to withstand the extreme environments of space. Then once his armor was done, and he'd tested it out Anton started designing a warp drive attachment for the armor. He incorporated two miniaturized warp drive nacelles into the systems of an even larger chest armor to go over the main armor to allow for small distance stealth warp jumps. Not stealthed by any special coating, but rather just the fact that no sensors are designed to pick up objects the size of humans in space. Especially not ones that are moving at warp speed.

Now with his warp armor Anton feels that he might be able to help the Avengers of 2374 even a slight edge over the coming of Galactus.

head: Opening Tin Man head from VCA
upper torso: Extremis IM w/ a custom cast Arc reactor
lower torso: Bleeding Edge
arms: Bleeding Edge
upper legs: Extremis
lower legs: Bleeding Edge

For those of you thinking about how to do a space scene pic here's how I did these ones:

Then just zoom in, and take your pic. Then flip it as necessary on your pc.

Love it. I'm on a real Iron Man high at the moment so this really hits the mark. How did you take the Iron Man figures apart especially the torso?
Cheers.

The Extremis torso is hollow, but the Bleeding Edge is solid. I cracked the torso open by soaking it in hot water, and then slicing the side w/ a razor knife. I did the same w/ the BE lower torso so that I could switch out the torso articulation parts. Everything else was just soak in hot water, and then use a small flat tip/ leather punch from my multi-tool to spread the joints open enough to pull the pegs out. I then Dremeled the Extremis feet, and then drilled the ankle joint holes to fit on the BE lower legs/ ankles.

The opening face plate head is of course from my store.
