So I really had no big plans to make more Bond figures, but there's a big mound of dirt and rock and asphalt on the open lot behind my property, and covered in snow as it is, I decided I needed to make a ski scene.

I already played with some Adventure Teamers in the snow here, so I wanted something different.

Previously I've made Tux, wetsuit, and tactical turtleneck versions of 007 (well, of my current take on him at least), so it popped into my mind to have him be in the scene.

First, here's the new figure:
Image

It's the usual GC head, with POC Beachhead torso, Resolute someone legs, and Captain America coat.

The scene is something along the lines of Bond having infiltrated a MEDUSA lab (yes, Bond is in my EXCAL world) somewhere in say Norway, and he's escaping with a copied hard-drive containing secrets to their R&D projects. He has just one guard left to beat before he makes it to the rendezvous...

So, what do you think about the figure? What can I do to make the pics and action shots better?

Big snow is coming tomorrow, but so far temps have been ok. Could maybe see doing a few more pics out there then.

I'm not sold on the legs. James Bond doesn't use knee armor.

I think that head would work on just a Snow Job body (shades of VTAK opening sequence)

the legs were something of an afterthought, as I needed to get something on the figure to be able to take the shots while the sun was up.

I'm open to changing them, but I also don't know that I buy the notion Bond wouldn't use knee armor, if the situation warranted.

pretend they are part of the disguise he used to get into the complex...

and yeah, the snow scene was 70-30 why I made him. I admit I could put any head on that figure and have it be anyone I wanted. The scene just seemed Bond-ish

I like it.
I think the legs work well with the rest. It's a more unique look than an all white outfit.

Cool action shots.

Thx. I had zero interest in shooting a Snow Job figure for this... Lol. And yeah I think all white would work for a military figure in this setting.

I didn't use this shot before mainly because the out of scale road and power lines/poles in the background ruin the effect for me. But I love how much it looks like a mountain here otherwise

lol, that thought had crossed my mind.

I have a big dio scene that would work great here while the snow is on the ground... but not sure I want to have to explain that to my neighbors...

That knee armor is from Q division. The right one turns into an Aston Martin. The left one, when activated, is a miniature death blossom like device, capable leveling everything within five hundred metres.

Bond being Bond, there's no telling which one will blow up first.

Didn't even look at the legs because I was drawn to the scene and I already accepted him as Bond for the scene. Awesome scene!

The knee pads are fine. It is the skis I have a problem with. Bond needs a cello case.

Or a giant red parachute backpack.

Or a camouflaged car on the ice.

Or at least a ski pole gun.

this was more of the intro scene's mission. It may or may not have to do with the movie's plot, but there's a chance it has more straight up action than any of the plot development scenes to follow.

;)

since i don't ski, i thought the knee pads were just standard ski gear.

i just noticed if i scroll down your pics fast it almost looks like a "flip book" animation ;)
