Awhile back our friend Suburbanator requested some customs for me to make for him. First was a head repaint for an unmasked Night Adder (a difficult color tone to match, but I was able to accomplish with some work). Next was a modern era version of the Listen and Fun Tripwire (I decided to step it up with a removable helmet). Then there is Eddie from Iron Maiden Somewhere in Time album (this required a lot of sculpting and I had no clue what the back looked like). Last was the slave girl from GI Joe Slaves to the Cobra Master cartoon (the entire figure was a cast originally from Slayer Studios, many of the parts were brittle and needed a lot of work to fit correctly). Attachment: This last one is an original character that I came up with called simply the Rocket Bike and Rider. I had a Snake Eyes head and Ghost Rider body, put them together and said needs a vehicle. Using a Corps! dirtbike and ROC Cobra VTOL Engines, (with numerous random parts) I made a Rocket Bike. Eddie is awesome, I still have that record. Great Work on him. I always thought that was cool artwork but to see someone recreate it makes it that much cooler. |

agreed. Eddie is the standout here, even though they are all fantastic. I request Piece of Mind Eddie next - |

They look awesome. I guess I didn't think about what Eddie's back might look like, I love what you did there. As far as L&F Tripwire, I just expected a simple repaint, but you definitely made him your own. And like Pluv said, the removable helmet, poor Tripwire, eight versions and every single one is the same mold/design, o-ring or ME and no removable helmet. Night Adder's head (called The Brute if I remember correctly), the Eddie head and upper and lower torso and Selina's body are all from Slayer. So bummered they are no longer around. They made such great stuff. |
