I know this character has been done a thousand times over, but I have never done one. So here is my version. I wanted him to be modern and high tech. This actually started out as a Beachhead custom, but quickly became Firefly.

That's a badass figure.

the dry-brushing is subtle perfection. The color highlights really make it come to life though. Like you can feel all the electronics he has going on there.

I'd be tempted to call him something new, but I can see him as FF too. I think I like this take on him, using the BH torso and arms, better than the POC take on him.

Perfect color to accent. this could have been a bland figure, but you made it pop perfectly with the reds.

This may be one of your best, and your skills are definitely developing on the upper part of the curve.

great paint job my friend. I think he looks pretty cool as FF. Only parts I don't care for are the lower legs.
You are one of my favorite new customizers still

It has a vibe of V.2 FF mixed with POC. Very creative.

Fantastic job on the dry-brushing, and I think you've got the perfect amount of color in the figure -

He does look cool. The only thing distracting me is the Boba Fett face looking knee pads, hehe. He is a cool design over all!

Actually the kneepads were one of the things that I liked the most. They had a real "cobra fangs" vibe to them. That and the ultra realistic orange on the readout screen were the two details that really popped for me.

So you know, matters of taste are indisputable and all that... but I like it.

Just thought of a critique - Could you use a little of the matching red on the rifle, to draw it into the custom the way the submachine gun does? I think that that detailing is the only possible way to improve this.

That is a great take on Firefly! Gives him a high tech feel, as a demo expert in this day and age should be. And I concur, the dry brushing is extremely well done.

There is a tiny bit of red on the scope lens, but it is not really visible in the pics, and I agree that a little red on the side of the gun would help greatly.

Thanks for the compliments on the drybrushing, I have been practicing, but I think this was just a perfect color match to make it look really good. It made me want to test out a few ideas for later figures regarding colors and drybrushing.

Oooh impressive. I like this one a lot. Good detail paint, good dry brushing.
