Comments - THIS I COMMAND!!

Serpentor was intended to be the ultimate Cobra Emperor. Undivided dominance and command of all. Genetic Material was gathered from the greatest conquerors of history and those of significant skill. The original attempt made by Mindbender and Destro was a critical failure, too many influences and an unstable element added by Cobra Commander created a protogean monster that rampaged it's way out of Mindbender's lab and seemingly into oblivion on Cobra Island. Desperate to have something to usurp Cobra Commander, Mindbender took a loyal and commanding field leader and utilized the Brainwave scanner to create Serpentor as He should have been while giving him time to perfect his creation. Time would pass and A civil war erupted within Cobra, that resulted in Serpentor's demise. Mindbener stepped up his work to finish his masterpiece. Sun Tzu, Julius Caesar, Napoleon Bonaparte, Attila the Hun, Philip II of Macedon and his son Alexander the Great, Ivan the Terrible, Vlad the Impaler, Hannibal, Genghis Khan, Grigori Rasputin, Montezuma, Geronimo and Egyptian general Xanuth Amon-Toth where the original donors. Over time some samples where tainted and or destroys so replacements where needed. Mindbender added himself, Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, Sgt Slaughter and Steve Jobs dna to his later attempts. The current Serpentor incarnation is much more subtle in his actions than some of his predecessors. He leads with a haunting calmness, speaking in dulcimer tones that almost seem to hypnotize his followers into action, as his ire rises so do theirs, into a righteous frenzy. The Coil is loyal to him alone. The NeoVipers are his equivalent of Crimson Guards, each is a unique copy of his individual DNA patriarch. All of which where gene triggered to age at an accelerated rate save for their one time protector Hannibal. His service was rewarded with freedom that he would have taken whether offered or not.

I'm thinking of adding a second, lighter gold tone to the "belly" stretch of the middle, and maybe adding more black details

you know i love your customs, but i'm not feeling this one. needs some more pomp i think. your serpentor should have the fully opened hooded cobra type head dress and a staff. not sure about the blades?? maybe if they were gold.

don't get me wrong! it's a clean, tight , almost perfect exicution. break out the glitter glue!

As I said on FB, I think a line of black paint along that lower ridge of the chest piece would provide definition.

I'm adding black and probably moving further away from traditional. But I am closer to liking it.

I never really liked the flared hood. The idw shroud works for me

the arm blades look 100% better, also the added contrast works well. i guess i'm stuck on the flared hood, i never knew serpentor any other way!

I think it looks way better now.

May I make a suggestion?

The boots seem to be a little green. Can you add a bit of black paint onto that tiny piece on the top pf the foot? There is this little square section that seems like it needs a touch of black.

Also maybe take a little gold on the segments of the green chest things? The two ones that come down from his shoulders to the chest.

You have gold on the serpent section of the hood that looks awesome, carry that gold on the recessed segmented parts of those two vertical green things on each side of his chest (the in between the scales part).

I liked it better before all the black. Maybe the black should be green same with the cape too.
