I made the wedding cake toppers for my wedding cake. My buddy and his then fiancee were guests at our reception and after seeing our cake asked me to make their wedding cake toppers. I gladly accepted the challenge, and a challenge they they were, his was actually pretty simple with super minimal sculpting (shirt collar and hair), while her figure was the most challenging I've done to date. Her dress is all sculpted, custom painted, and then covered in a layer of fine lace.

They LOVED them. Which made me incredibly happy.

So now I am sharing them here.

They requested that the bride be able to body slam the groom. I sent her this pic (he wasn't allowed to see what her dress was going to look like) and she approved with joy.

Sadly I didn't get any pics of the figures on the cake, so I'm collecting the pics posted on facebook, this was the first. Sorry that it is blurry.

Very nice! What parts did you use for the bride?

This is great work, the dress on Frank's bride is one of the best sculpting jobs that you have done...you have once again out done yourself.

Piece a cake, right?

It seems like a custom where you stepped a little out of your comfort zone to make something a little different.

Annika head? I thought it looked a little like Jennifer Tilly.

There's nothing better than making other people happy doing something you enjoy, it's a win-win scenario.

I don't know if you mean "what are you going to do with it" or just "what is it" but if you meant the latter then it's 2001 Power of the Jedi Luke in Echo Base Bacta Tank (whew that's a mouthful)

And not to be too controversial but it's also a fine example of why toys are a terrible "investment". The set is great, it was great when it first came out and retailed for $9.99. Now, 13 years later it can be had pretty regularly for $6-8 Mint on card before shipping.

You are correct. It is an Agent Anika head from GuruToys.

It was a fun set to make, even if it was a PITA. I have been commissioned for another set of cake toppers. I almost said "no" because of the time and materials that go into these. But they met my price, a little too easily, so why the hell not.

Great work. Normally not a "soft goods" fan, but it works very well here. I got to make cake toppers for some friends last year, I found it's a good example to help people understand customizing.
