Collectors are split in their opinions when it comes to Tiger Force. Some love it, others are turned off by the bright color scheme. When the line came out in 1988, I was 12 and growing out of Joes. I remember seeing the commercials on TV and thinking that the figures and vehicles were really cool, but I never got any as a kid. When I started collecting as an adult, I picked up a couple of vehicles - the Tigerfly and Tigerfish - and immediately took to them. Unfortunately, up to now, I have not taken the time to expand the ranks of my Tiger Force team much beyond the 25th Anniversary figures that we got - Flint, Duke and Wild Bill. I did make my own Wreckage and Star Duster a few years ago. Those customs are outdated now as are the original 25th figures. So, in an effort to modernize my Tiger Force roster, here is the next entry in my series of ''Ultimate'' style figures: Tiger Force Tripwire. Hopefully, he will be the first of many to come. Enjoy! Only suggestion I have would be to drill the elbow peg holes deeper in the upper arm so the elbow peg seats in all the way. That gap is really noticeable. |

I was like "meh" and then I saw the bomb robot and was like, "ahhhhhhh". |

Thanks. Yeah, the elbows are fixed since I snapped the pic. I also upgraded the plastic cord to a hose for more flexibility. pluv wrote: I was like "meh" and then I saw the bomb robot and was like, "ahhhhhhh". If there had been enough space on the front of the robot, I would have loved to incorporate the eyes and mouth too. OB |

You could do the claw as teeth and the round part behind it as eyes. |

What is the vest? I like that he's mostly original, but still recognizable. |

I know that you fixed the joint gap, but you could have covered the gap with WWE BnB wrestling pads. The gap would be hidden and you would not loose articulation. On another note, Tripwire needs to have a removable helmet.. |

Really like this design, but for me the bomb robot is just great. Agree with Pluv, it's as adorable as it is cool. Needs a designation like "CUB" or something. |
